بدأت طائرات التزود بالوقود التابعة للجيش الأمريكي مغادرة مطار بن غوريون الدولي في إسرائيل، في إطار خطة تهدف إلى تخفيف الضغط على المطار وزيادة قدرته على استيعاب حركة الطيران المدني خلال موسم الصيف، وفق ما أفادت به مصادر مطلعة.
ونقلت قناة «i24NEWS» العبرية عن مصدرين مطلعين أن عملية نقل الطائرات جاءت بناءً على طلب إسرائيلي، بعد أن تسبب وجود أعداد كبيرة من طائرات التزود بالوقود الأمريكية في ضغط متزايد على ساحات وقوف الطائرات داخل المطار، ما أثر على القدرة التشغيلية للمطار واستقبال الرحلات المدنية.
وأكد مسؤولون مطلعون أن هذه الخطوة لا تعكس أي تقليص للوجود العسكري الأمريكي في الشرق الأوسط أو خفضاً لمستوى الجاهزية العسكرية الأمريكية في المنطقة، مشيرين إلى أن الطائرات التي غادرت مطار بن غوريون تمت إعادة نشرها في مواقع أخرى داخل المنطقة، مع بقاء القدرات العسكرية الأمريكية على حالها.
وبحسب المصادر، فإن واشنطن لا تزال تحتفظ بخيارات عسكرية متعددة في المنطقة، خصوصاً في ظل استمرار التوترات المتعلقة بالملف الإيراني، وما يرتبط بها من احتمالات التصعيد أو العودة إلى مسار التفاهمات السياسية.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة في وقت تواجه إسرائيل تحديات تشغيلية في مطار بن غوريون، مع توقعات بارتفاع كثافة الرحلات الجوية خلال يوليو وأغسطس، بالتزامن مع سعي شركات طيران دولية إلى توسيع أو استئناف رحلاتها إلى إسرائيل.
وفي هذا السياق، قالت وزيرة المواصلات الإسرائيلية ميري ريغيف إن جهوداً مكثفة بُذلت خلال الفترة الماضية لمعالجة الأزمة، مشيرة إلى أن 24 طائرة من أصل 75 طائرة كانت متمركزة في المطار غادرت بالفعل، الأمر الذي ساهم في تحسين القدرة على إدارة حركة الطيران المدني.
وأضافت أن السلطات الإسرائيلية تواصل إجراء تقييمات شبه يومية مع الجيش الإسرائيلي ووزارة الدفاع ومجلس الأمن القومي، بهدف استكمال عملية تخفيف الضغط على المطار وضمان استمرارية الحركة الجوية خلال موسم السفر الصيفي.

The American military refueling aircraft began leaving Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel as part of a plan aimed at alleviating pressure on the airport and increasing its capacity to accommodate civil air traffic during the summer season, according to informed sources.
The Hebrew channel "i24NEWS" reported from two informed sources that the transfer of the aircraft came at the request of Israel, after the presence of a large number of American refueling planes caused increasing pressure on the aircraft parking areas within the airport, affecting the operational capacity of the airport and its ability to receive civil flights.
Informed officials confirmed that this step does not reflect any reduction in the American military presence in the Middle East or a decrease in the level of American military readiness in the region, noting that the aircraft that left Ben Gurion Airport have been redeployed to other locations within the region, while American military capabilities remain unchanged.
According to the sources, Washington still retains multiple military options in the region, especially in light of the ongoing tensions related to the Iranian file, and the associated possibilities of escalation or a return to the path of political understandings.
This step comes at a time when Israel is facing operational challenges at Ben Gurion Airport, with expectations of increased flight density during July and August, coinciding with international airlines' efforts to expand or resume their flights to Israel.
In this context, Israeli Transportation Minister Miri Regev stated that intensive efforts have been made in recent times to address the crisis, indicating that 24 out of 75 aircraft stationed at the airport have already left, which has contributed to improving the ability to manage civil air traffic.
She added that Israeli authorities continue to conduct near-daily assessments with the Israeli military, the Ministry of Defense, and the National Security Council, aiming to complete the process of alleviating pressure on the airport and ensuring the continuity of air traffic during the summer travel season.
The American military presence in the Middle East has seen notable reinforcements in recent months against the backdrop of escalating regional tensions, particularly concerning the Iranian file and security developments in the region. Refueling aircraft are considered vital military assets that provide the American and Israeli air forces with greater capabilities to conduct long-range operations and increase the time fighter aircraft can remain in the air.
