أكد وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو اليوم (الثلاثاء)، أن ملف لبنان منفصل عن إيران، موضحاً أن الولايات المتحدة تتعامل مباشرة مع الحكومة اللبنانية.
وقال روبيو في تصريحات صحافية: «لا يمكن إنهاء الأعمال العدائية في المنطقة إذا كان وكلاء إيران يطلقون الصواريخ»، مضيفاً: «لا يُسمح لأي دولة بفرض رسوم أو ضرائب على الممرات المائية الدولية».
وفي سياق متصل، قال رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني شهباز شريف: «هناك جهات في العالم تود تخريب الصفقة وتنشر الشكوك وتشعر بخيبة أمل»، معرباً عن شكره لولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان وأمير قطر والرئيسين التركي والمصري على دعمهم للتوصل إلى السلام.
وأضاف: «آمل أن تؤدي مذكرة التفاهم إلى السلام في المنطقة بأكملها»، موضحاً أن مذكرة التفاهم لم تتطرق إلى موضوع الصواريخ الباليستية الإيرانية.
وأعلن شريف رفضه ازدواجية المعايير فيما يخص الصواريخ الباليستية، مضيفاً: «هناك دول تريد عرقلة الاتفاق، وأقول إنه لا يمكن لها امتلاك صواريخ باليستية دون إيران».
وحذر شهباز من أن الحرب يمكن أن تدمر كل شيء، مشيداً بدعم قادة دول المنطقة للتوصل إلى السلام.
ووجه شريف رسالة إلى المرشد الإيراني قائلاً: «رسالتي للمرشد الإيراني أن بلاده توصلت لوقف إطلاق النار ومذكرة التفاهم، وحفظت كرامتها».
وكشف رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني أنه سيلتقي المرشد الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي الاسبوع القادم قائلاً: «سألتقي مجتبى خامنئي الأسبوع القادم في إيران».
وقال الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان: «رئيس وزراء باكستان وقائد الجيش بذلا جهوداً كبيرة في المفاوضات ونقدر لهما هذا الدور»، مؤكداً أن تقدم منطقة غرب آسيا يعتمد على السلام والأمن والتعاون الإقليمي، ومثمناً دور باكستان في تسهيل المفاوضات والتوصل إلى مذكرة التفاهم.
وأشار إلى أنه بحث مع رئيس الوزراء وقائد الجيش في باكستان التطورات الراهنة في الإقليم والعالم، مبيناً أنهم لا يثقون بأمريكا لأنها هاجمتهم مرتين خلال التفاوض، لكنهم ما زالوا مستعدين للحوار والسلام.
من جهة أخرى، قالت المنظمة البحرية الدولية التابعة للأمم المتحدة، اليوم، إنها بدأت تنفيذ خطة إجلاء لمئات السفن التي تقل 11 ألف بحار عالقين في الخليج، وذلك بعد التوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار بين إيران والولايات المتحدة.
وقال متحدث باسم المنظمة: «بدأنا الآن التواصل مع السفن لبدء عملية الإجلاء»، دون تحديد إطار زمني، موضحاً أن البحارة على متن نحو 600 سفينة.
ورحب الأمين العام للمنظمة البحرية الدولية، أرسينيو دومينغيز، باتفاق السلام، معتبراً أنه يمثل خطوة حاسمة نحو استعادة الأمن البحري وإنهاء الهجمات غير المقبولة على الملاحة المدنية.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed today (Tuesday) that the Lebanon file is separate from Iran, clarifying that the United States is dealing directly with the Lebanese government.
Rubio stated in press remarks: "Hostilities in the region cannot be ended if Iran's proxies are launching missiles," adding, "No country is allowed to impose fees or taxes on international waterways."
In a related context, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said: "There are entities in the world that wish to sabotage the deal and spread doubts and disappointment," expressing his gratitude to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the Emir of Qatar, and the Turkish and Egyptian presidents for their support in achieving peace.
He added: "I hope that the memorandum of understanding will lead to peace in the entire region," clarifying that the memorandum did not address the issue of Iranian ballistic missiles.
Sharif announced his rejection of double standards regarding ballistic missiles, adding: "There are countries that want to obstruct the agreement, and I say that they cannot possess ballistic missiles without Iran."
Shahbaz warned that war could destroy everything, praising the support of regional leaders in achieving peace.
Sharif sent a message to the Iranian leader, saying: "My message to the Iranian leader is that his country has reached a ceasefire and a memorandum of understanding, and has preserved its dignity."
He revealed that he will meet with Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei next week, saying: "I will meet Mojtaba Khamenei next week in Iran."
Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian stated: "The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the army chief made significant efforts in the negotiations, and we appreciate their role," emphasizing that the progress of the West Asia region depends on peace, security, and regional cooperation, and valuing Pakistan's role in facilitating the negotiations and reaching the memorandum of understanding.
He noted that he discussed with the Prime Minister and the army chief in Pakistan the current developments in the region and the world, indicating that they do not trust America because it attacked them twice during the negotiations, but they are still ready for dialogue and peace.
On another note, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) of the United Nations announced today that it has begun implementing an evacuation plan for hundreds of ships carrying 11,000 stranded sailors in the Gulf, following an agreement to cease fire between Iran and the United States.
A spokesperson for the organization said: "We have now started contacting the ships to begin the evacuation process," without specifying a timeframe, clarifying that sailors are on board approximately 600 vessels.
The Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization, Arsenio Dominguez, welcomed the peace agreement, considering it a crucial step towards restoring maritime security and ending unacceptable attacks on civil navigation.
