كشف مسؤول أوروبي اليوم (الأربعاء) عن اتصالات تُجرى بين مكتب رئيس المجلس الأوروبي والكرملين لبحث إنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا.
وذكر المسؤول أن مكتب رئيس المجلس الأوروبي، أنطونيو كوستا، أجرى اتصالات دبلوماسية مقتضبة مع الكرملين لفتح قنوات تواصل خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة، مبيناً أن الهدف هو فتح قنوات تواصل، من دون مناقشة أي قضايا جوهرية.
ولم يصدر الكرملين حتى الآن تعليقاً رسمياً، لكن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي كان قد قال منتصف الأسبوع إنه عرض لقاء الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين على هامش قمة مجموعة السبع.
بدوره، قال ترمب إنه سيسعى إلى إنهاء القتال في أوكرانيا، موضحاً أنه سيولي اهتمامه لمحاولة تحقيق السلام بين موسكو وكييف.
وفي غضون ذلك، أعلن عمدة موسكو سيرغي سوبيانين إسقاط 20 طائرة مسيّرة كانت في طريقها لاستهداف العاصمة الروسية.
وأفادت وزارة الدفاع الروسية بأن منظومات الدفاع الجوي اعترضت ودمرت 44 طائرة مسيّرة أوكرانية فوق عدة مناطق روسية ومياه البحر الأسود خلال ساعتين، مبينة أن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي اعترضت ودمرت المسيّرات فوق أراضي مقاطعات بريانسك وكورسك وكالوغا وتولا وتفير وريازان وفورونيج، ومنطقة موسكو وضواحيها، وإقليم كراسنودار، ومياه البحر الأسود.
وأعلنت السلطات الروسية سقوط قتيل وإصابة 6 أشخاص في هجمات أوكرانية على مقاطعة بيلغورود.
في المقابل، قالت السلطات الأوكرانية إن هجوماً روسياً على مدينة زابوريجيا الواقعة جنوب شرقي أوكرانيا أسفر عن مقتل شخص واحد على الأقل وإصابة 7 آخرين.
وذكرت صحيفة «كييف إندبندنت» أن التحذير من احتمال وقوع ضربات إضافية ظل سارياً اليوم بسبب وجود طائرات مسيّرة روسية في الأجواء.
