أعلن الحرس الثوري الإيراني أن مضيق هرمز مغلق، محذراً من أن أي محاولة للعبور منه ستواجه برد صارم. وقال في بيان، اليوم الجمعة، «يُمنع مرور أي سفينة من وإلى موانئ الدول الحليفة لأعدائنا عبر أي ممر»، بحسب ما نقلت عنه وكالة تسنيم.
وأضاف أن «3 سفن شحن من جنسيات مختلفة حاولت التحرك نحو الممر المحدد في مضيق هرمز لعبور السفن الحاصلة على تصاريح لكنها منعت بعد تحذيرها من بحرية الحرس».
وكان مسؤولون إيرانيون، أفادوا بأن المضيق الحيوي الذي تمر عبره خمس سفن شحن النفط والغاز حول العالم ليس مغلقاً، إلا أن السفن وشركات التأمين تخشى عبوره.
من جهته، قال وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي: إن الشعب الإيراني مسالم ويحمل تاريخاً حضارياً ضارب الجذور. وأضاف في كلمة ألقاها عبر الفيديو أمام مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة بجنيف، اليوم (الجمعة)، إن بلاده ستواصل الدفاع عن أراضيها طالما كان ذلك ضرورياً.
واعتبر أن الولايات المتحدة قلبت طاولة المفاوضات أكثر من مرة على الرغم من انتهاج إيران المسار الدبلوماسي، في إشارة إلى المفاوضات النووية التي عقدت العام الماضي (2025) قبل أن تطيح بها الغارات الإسرائيلية والأمريكية في يونيو الماضي، فضلاً عن المفاوضات الأخيرة الشهر الماضي (فبراير 2026).
ولفت إلى أن «العدوان الأمريكي الإسرائيلي غير المشروع طال مستشفيات ومدارس ومصافي مياه». وندد بـ«الهجوم المدروس والمُنفَّذ على مراحل» على المدرسة الابتدائية في مدينة ميناب. وأضاف أن «التصريحات المتناقضة للولايات المتحدة التي تهدف إلى تبرير جريمتها، لا يمكنها بأي حال من الأحوال أن تجعلها تتنصل من مسؤوليتها»، واصفاً الهجوم بـ«جريمة حرب وجريمة ضد الإنسانية».
ولفت إلى أنه «لا يمكن إعفاء أمريكا من المسؤولية عن جريمة استهداف المدرسة» التي راح ضحيتها أكثر من 70 طالبة.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the Strait of Hormuz is closed, warning that any attempt to cross it will face a strict response. In a statement today, Friday, it said, "The passage of any ship to and from the ports of the countries allied with our enemies through any corridor is prohibited," according to what the Tasnim news agency reported.
It added that "three cargo ships of different nationalities attempted to move towards the designated corridor in the Strait of Hormuz to cross the ships that have permits, but they were prevented after being warned by the naval forces of the Guard."
Iranian officials had reported that the vital strait through which five oil and gas cargo ships pass around the world is not closed, but ships and insurance companies are afraid to cross it.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the Iranian people are peaceful and have a deep-rooted civilizational history. He added in a speech delivered via video before the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva today (Friday) that his country will continue to defend its territory as long as it is necessary.
He considered that the United States has overturned the negotiation table more than once despite Iran's pursuit of a diplomatic path, referring to the nuclear negotiations that took place last year (2025) before being disrupted by Israeli and American airstrikes last June, in addition to the recent negotiations last month (February 2026).
He pointed out that "the illegal American-Israeli aggression has targeted hospitals, schools, and water treatment plants." He condemned the "calculated and staged attack" on the elementary school in the city of Minab. He added that "the contradictory statements from the United States aimed at justifying its crime cannot in any way absolve it of responsibility," describing the attack as "a war crime and a crime against humanity."
He noted that "the United States cannot be exempted from responsibility for the crime of targeting the school," which resulted in the deaths of more than 70 students.
