نفى رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، اليوم (الاثنين)، إجراء أي مفاوضات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، وذلك بعد أن قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب إن واشنطن وطهران أجرتا محادثات وصفها بـ«المثمرة».
وكتب قاليباف على حسابه في منصة «إكس»: «الشعب يطالب بإنزال أشد العقوبات بالمعتدين، وجميع المسؤولين الإيرانيين يقفون صفاً واحداً خلف زعيمهم الأعلى لتحقيق هذا الهدف»، مضيفاً: «لم يتم إجراء أي مفاوضات مع الولايات المتحدة».
واعتبر تصريحات ترمب محاولة للهروب من المأزق قائلاً: «يتم استخدام الأخبار الكاذبة للتلاعب بأسواق المال والنفط وللهروب من المأزق الذي وقعت فيه الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل».
بدوره، قال الحرس الثوري الإيراني: «السلوك المتناقض للرئيس الأمريكي المخادع لن يجعلنا نغفل عن جبهة القتال»، لكنّ مسؤولاً إيراناً كبيراً قال لوكالة «رويترز» إن الولايات المتحدة طلبت لقاءً مع رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، اليوم (الإثنين)، دون ذكر مكان للقاء المقترح.
وأضاف المسؤول، الذي طلب عدم الكشف عن هويته نظراً لحساسية الموضوع، أن المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني لم يبت بعد في أمر أي محادثات مقترحة، وأن إيران لم ترد بعد.
من جهة أخرى، قال المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، إن موقف طهران بشأن مضيق هرمز وشروط إنهاء الحرب لم يتغير، موضحاً لوكالة «إرنا» إن «الدول الصديقة أرسلت في الأيام الأخيرة رسائل تشير إلى أن أمريكا طلبت إجراء محادثات لإنهاء الحرب، وإيران لم ترد»، ولفت إلى أن إيران لم تجر أي محادثات مع أمريكا.
في الوقت ذاته، قال مسؤول إسرائيلي، إنه من المبكر معرفة إن كان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب ينوي إنهاء الحرب على إيران، وبحسب هيئة البث الإسرائيلية. ورغم نفي قاليباف، إلا أن القناة 12 الإسرائيلية قالت الزعيم الإيراني الرفيع الذي تحدث مع المسؤولين الأمريكيين هو رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf denied today (Monday) that any negotiations have taken place between Iran and the United States, following U.S. President Donald Trump's statement that Washington and Tehran had held what he described as "productive" talks.
Qalibaf wrote on his account on the "X" platform: "The people demand the harshest sanctions against the aggressors, and all Iranian officials stand united behind their supreme leader to achieve this goal," adding: "No negotiations have been held with the United States."
He considered Trump's statements an attempt to escape from the impasse, saying: "False news is being used to manipulate financial and oil markets and to escape from the deadlock the United States and Israel have found themselves in."
For its part, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated: "The contradictory behavior of the deceitful U.S. president will not distract us from the front lines of battle," but a senior Iranian official told Reuters that the United States requested a meeting with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf today (Monday), without mentioning a location for the proposed meeting.
The official, who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, added that the Iranian Supreme National Security Council has not yet decided on any proposed talks, and that Iran has not responded yet.
On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei stated that Tehran's position regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the conditions for ending the war has not changed, explaining to the IRNA agency that "friendly countries have sent messages in recent days indicating that America requested talks to end the war, and Iran has not responded," noting that Iran has not held any talks with America.
At the same time, an Israeli official stated that it is too early to know if U.S. President Donald Trump intends to end the war with Iran, according to Israeli broadcasting authority. Despite Qalibaf's denial, Channel 12 in Israel reported that the senior Iranian leader who spoke with U.S. officials is Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf.
