توقع وزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان، اليوم (الإثنين)، بدء المرحلة الثانية من اتفاق غزة مطلع عام 2026، موضحاً أن مناقشات ميامي ركزت على العقبات التي تحول دون انتقال الاتفاق إلى مرحلته التالية.
وتبذل دول الوساطة في اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بقطاع غزة (الولايات المتحدة، مصر، قطر وتركيا) جهوداً حثيثة لبدء المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق مطلع العام القادم، وذلك عقب محادثات بين مسؤولين أمريكيين، وقطريين، ومصريين، وأتراك في ميامي، قبل أيام، توصلت إلى تفاهمات واعدة بشأن المرحلة الثانية.
جهود مصرية
من جهته، أكد وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي، اليوم، أن الأمور تسير بشكل جيد في اتفاق غزة، معرباً عن أمله بأن يتم الإعلان في يناير القادم عن الدخول في المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق في القطاع.
وقال عبدالعاطي إن مصر تعمل جاهدة على دخول المرحلة الثانية من اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، معرباً عن أمله أن يتم خلال يناير القادم الدخول في المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق.
وأضاف: نعول على انخراط الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في وقف انتهاكات الطرف الإسرائيلي لاتفاق غزة، مندداً بتصاعد الاستيطان بالضفة الغربية.
وتوصل الوسطاء إلى تفاهمات واعدة بشأن المرحلة الثانية من الاتفاق، خلال اجتماع في مدينة ميامي بولاية فلوريدا الأمريكية، على المضي قدماً في تنفيذ اتفاق غزة، بعد تقييم ما تحقق في مرحلته الأولى، بما يشمل تعزيز المساعدات الإنسانية، وخفض الأعمال القتالية، والتحضير لترتيبات الحكم والإعمار والتكامل الإقليمي.
اتفاق ميامي
وكان المبعوث الأمريكي إلى الشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف، قد قال في وقت سابق: «نحن، ممثلو الولايات المتحدة ومصر وقطر وتركيا، عقدنا اجتماعاً (الجمعة) في ميامي لمراجعة تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، والمضي قدماً في التحضيرات للمرحلة الثانية»، موضحاً أن المرحلة الأولى أحرزت تقدماً شمل توسيع نطاق المساعدات الإنسانية، وإعادة جثامين محتجزين، وانسحابات جزئية للقوات الإسرائيلية، إلى جانب خفض مستوى الأعمال القتالية.
وأشار إلى أنه في إطار المناقشات المتعلقة بالمرحلة الثانية، جرى التأكيد على تمكين هيئة حاكمة في غزة تحت سلطة غزّية موحدة، بما يضمن حماية المدنيين والحفاظ على النظام العام.
ومن المتوقع أن يجتمع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو مع ترمب في الولايات المتحدة خلال أيام، لمناقشة المرحلة التالية من اتفاق غزة.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan predicted today (Monday) that the second phase of the Gaza agreement will begin in early 2026, explaining that discussions in Miami focused on the obstacles preventing the agreement from moving to its next phase.
The mediating countries in the Gaza ceasefire agreement (the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey) are making concerted efforts to initiate the second phase of the agreement at the beginning of next year, following talks between American, Qatari, Egyptian, and Turkish officials in Miami a few days ago, which reached promising understandings regarding the second phase.
Egyptian Efforts
For his part, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti confirmed today that things are going well in the Gaza agreement, expressing hope that an announcement will be made in January about entering the second phase of the agreement in the sector.
Abdel Atti stated that Egypt is working diligently to enter the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, expressing hope that this will occur in January.
He added: We rely on the engagement of U.S. President Donald Trump in stopping Israeli violations of the Gaza agreement, condemning the escalation of settlement activities in the West Bank.
The mediators reached promising understandings regarding the second phase of the agreement during a meeting in Miami, Florida, to move forward with implementing the Gaza agreement, after assessing what has been achieved in its first phase, including enhancing humanitarian aid, reducing combat activities, and preparing for governance, reconstruction, and regional integration arrangements.
Miami Agreement
U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Wittekov previously stated: "We, the representatives of the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, held a meeting (on Friday) in Miami to review the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza and to move forward with preparations for the second phase," explaining that the first phase made progress that included expanding the scope of humanitarian aid, returning the bodies of detainees, partial withdrawals of Israeli forces, along with reducing the level of combat activities.
He noted that in the discussions regarding the second phase, there was a confirmation of enabling a governing body in Gaza under a unified Gazan authority, ensuring the protection of civilians and maintaining public order.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with Trump in the United States in the coming days to discuss the next phase of the Gaza agreement.
