تزامناً مع انعقاد المحادثات الأمريكية الأوكرانية التي استضافها المستشار فريديش ميرتس، بحضور الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، تعرض مجلس النواب الألماني، أمس (الإثنين)، لهجوم سيبراني أدى إلى انقطاع كبير في خدمات البريد الإلكتروني، بحسب مسؤولين ألمان.
وأفاد 3 نواب ألمان لصحيفة «فايننشال تايمز» البريطانية، أنهم لم يتمكنوا من الوصول إلى حسابات بريدهم لأكثر من 4 ساعات، مؤكدين أن الهجوم بدأ لحظة دخول الرئيس الأوكراني إلى مبنى «البوندستاغ» لإجراء محادثات مع رئيسة المجلس يوليا كلوكنر.
انقطاع خدمة البريد الإلكتروني
ورجح مصدر حكومي أن يكون انقطاع خدمات البريد الإلكتروني هجوماً سيبرانياً انتقامياً على خلفية قرار ألمانيا استدعاء السفير الروسي إلى وزارة الخارجية، الأسبوع الماضي، بسبب مزاعم تتعلق بأعمال تخريب وحرب هجينة شنتها روسيا ضد برلين، مشدداً بالقول: «نحن نعرف على الأرجح من أين أتى هذا الهجوم».
وأفادت وسائل إعلام ألمانية أن الهجوم بدأ بعد وقت قصير من انتهاء المحادثات بين زيلينسكي وستيف ويتكوف، المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، وصهره جاريد كوشنر حول تسوية محتملة لإنهاء الحرب المستمرة في أوكرانيا منذ فبراير 2022.
وكانت الحكومة الألمانية قد اتهمت الأسبوع الماضي موسكو، بإدارة حملة تضليل إعلامية تهدف إلى زرع الانقسامات داخل المجتمع الألماني.
هجمة القرصنة
وحذر المستشار الألماني من أن روسيا تشن حرباً على أوروبا، وعلى ألمانيا بشكل خاص، عبر هجمات سيبرانية وأعمال تخريب يومية.
وكان مبنى مجلس النواب هدفاً لهجمات القراصنة الروس في عام 2015، فيما قالت الاستخبارات البريطانية إن كمية كبيرة من البيانات سرقت في هجوم طال حسابات بريد إلكتروني لعدة نواب، وشمل أيضا المستشارة الألمانية آنذاك أنغيلا ميركل.
وقالت الحكومة الألمانية الأسبوع الماضي، إن تعطل حركة الملاحة الجوية في أغسطس 2024 يمكن نسبه إلى مجموعة القراصنة الروس المعروفين باسم «فانسي بير»، وإلى جهاز الاستخبارات العسكرية الروسي، وهو ما نفته سفارة روسيا في برلين.
Coinciding with the American-Ukrainian talks hosted by Chancellor Friedrich Merz, attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the German Bundestag was subjected to a cyber attack yesterday (Monday), which led to a significant disruption in email services, according to German officials.
Three German deputies told the British newspaper "Financial Times" that they were unable to access their email accounts for more than 4 hours, confirming that the attack began the moment the Ukrainian president entered the Bundestag building to hold talks with the council's president, Julia Klöckner.
Email Service Disruption
A government source suggested that the disruption of email services was a retaliatory cyber attack in response to Germany's decision to summon the Russian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry last week, due to allegations related to sabotage and hybrid warfare waged by Russia against Berlin, emphasizing: "We probably know where this attack came from."
German media reported that the attack began shortly after the talks between Zelensky and Steve Biegun, the special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner regarding a potential settlement to end the ongoing war in Ukraine since February 2022.
Last week, the German government accused Moscow of conducting a disinformation campaign aimed at sowing divisions within German society.
Hacking Attack
The German Chancellor warned that Russia is waging war on Europe, and specifically on Germany, through cyber attacks and daily acts of sabotage.
The Bundestag building was targeted by Russian hackers in 2015, while British intelligence stated that a large amount of data was stolen in an attack that affected the email accounts of several deputies, including then-Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Last week, the German government stated that the disruption of air traffic in August 2024 could be attributed to the group of Russian hackers known as "Fancy Bear," and to the Russian military intelligence, which the Russian embassy in Berlin denied.
