اتهم مصدر عسكري سوداني قوات الدعم السريع بقصف مدينة الرهد في ولاية شمال كردفان بقذيفتين، في وقت أظهرت صور أقمار صناعية حديثة أضراراً لحقت بمستشفى جراء الهجوم.
وأفاد المصدر بأن عملية القصف تمت عبر مسيّرة استهدفت موقعاً على الطريق الرابط بين مدينتي الرهد والأبيّض، كما قصفت غربي مدينة الرهد ما أدى لإصابة شخص واحد.
وحسب المصدر العسكري في الجيش، فإن مسيّرة لـ«الدعم السريع» قصفت منطقة «سماسم» جنوب مدينة الدلنج، ومنطقة «أبو جبيهة» بولاية جنوب كردفان.
وكان مصدر عسكري قال إن قوة من الجيش السوداني والقوات المساندة لها مشّطت 3 من محاور القتال حول مدينة كادوقلي، عاصمة ولاية جنوب كردفان.
وتعد منطقة كردفان إحدى بؤر القتال، وتضم 3 ولايات غنية بالنفط والذهب والأراضي الزراعية، وتشكل حلقة وصل بين مناطق سيطرة الجيش في الشمال والشرق والوسط وإقليم دارفور الذي تسيطر عليه قوات الدعم السريع منذ نهاية أكتوبر الماضي.
وأظهرت صور أقمار صناعية التُقطت في 11 و14 ديسمبر الجاري أضراراً لحقت بمستشفى الدلنج العسكري بولاية جنوب كردفان جنوبي السودان، وكشفت نقطتي استهداف داخله، جراء قصف نفذته قوات الدعم السريع، وفقاً لبيان صادر عن شبكة أطباء السودان.
وبحسب بيان الشبكة، أسفر القصف، الذي وقع الأحد الماضي، عن مقتل 9 أشخاص وإصابة 17 آخرين، من بينهم أفراد من الكادر الطبي، نتيجة استهداف مستشفى الدلنج العسكري، إضافة إلى قصف مواقع مدنية في منطقتي الكرقل والسماسم جنوب مدينة الدلنج.
وأعرب مكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية (أوتشا) عن قلقه البالغ إزاء الهجوم على المستشفى، مشيراً إلى مقتل ما لا يقل عن 6 أشخاص وإصابة 12 آخرين، بينهم عاملون في المجال الطبي، وفق معلومات أولية.
A Sudanese military source accused the Rapid Support Forces of shelling the city of Al-Rahad in North Kordofan state with two shells, at a time when recent satellite images showed damage to a hospital as a result of the attack.
The source reported that the shelling was carried out via a drone targeting a location on the road linking the cities of Al-Rahad and Al-Obeid, and also shelled west of Al-Rahad city, resulting in one person being injured.
According to the military source in the army, a drone from the "Rapid Support Forces" shelled the "Samasim" area south of the city of Delang, and the "Abu Jbeih" area in South Kordofan state.
A military source stated that a force from the Sudanese army and its supporting forces combed three combat axes around the city of Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan state.
The Kordofan region is considered one of the hotspots of fighting, comprising three states rich in oil, gold, and agricultural land, and serves as a link between areas controlled by the army in the north, east, and center, and the Darfur region, which has been under the control of the Rapid Support Forces since the end of last October.
Satellite images taken on December 11 and 14 showed damage to the Delang military hospital in South Kordofan, southern Sudan, revealing two targeting points inside it, due to shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces, according to a statement issued by the Sudan Doctors Network.
According to the network's statement, the shelling, which occurred last Sunday, resulted in the deaths of 9 people and injuries to 17 others, including members of the medical staff, due to the targeting of the Delang military hospital, in addition to shelling civilian sites in the Al-Karqal and Samasim areas south of the city of Delang.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) expressed its deep concern regarding the attack on the hospital, noting that at least 6 people were killed and 12 others were injured, including medical workers, according to preliminary information.
