فتحت المحكمة الجنائية الدولية تحقيقات بشأن الجرائم الخطيرة التي ارتكبت في مدينة الفاشر، مركز ولاية شمال دارفور غرب السودان. وأكدت أن أعمال العنف في الفاشر ستشكل جرائم حرب حال ثبوتها.
وقالت المحكمة في بيان، اليوم (الإثنين): إن الجرائم في الفاشر جزء من نمط عنف أوسع شمل دارفور منذ أبريل 2023.
وكشفت المحكمة الدولية أنها تتخذ خطوات فورية لحفظ الأدلة بشأن الجرائم المزعومة في الفاشر. ودعت الأفراد والمنظمات لتقديم أي أدلة حول الأحداث الأخيرة في الفاشر.
وسيطرت قوات الدعم السريع، التي يرأسها محمد حمدان دقلو، الأسبوع الماضي، على مدينة الفاشر، ما أدى إلى نزوح الآلاف، وسط اتهامات وجهتها منظمات دولية وإغاثية إلى تلك القوات بارتكاب انتهاكات وجرائم مروعة بحق المدنيين.
The International Criminal Court has opened investigations into the serious crimes committed in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state in western Sudan. It confirmed that the acts of violence in El Fasher would constitute war crimes if proven.
The court stated in a statement today (Monday) that the crimes in El Fasher are part of a broader pattern of violence that has affected Darfur since April 2023.
The international court revealed that it is taking immediate steps to preserve evidence regarding the alleged crimes in El Fasher. It called on individuals and organizations to provide any evidence related to the recent events in El Fasher.
The Rapid Support Forces, led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, took control of the city of El Fasher last week, resulting in the displacement of thousands, amid accusations from international and humanitarian organizations against these forces of committing horrific violations and crimes against civilians.
