تعقد 8 فصائل فلسطينية، بينها حركة حماس، في القاهرة هذا الأسبوع اجتماعاً للتوصل إلى توافق بشأن العناصر الأساسية لإدارة انتقالية لقطاع غزة.
حكومة تحت مظلة السلطة
ونقلت صحيفة «واشنطن بوست» عن مسؤولين عرب وفلسطينيين أن الفصائل ستخوض نقاشاً حول من ينبغي أن يتولى رئاسة اللجنة التكنوقراطية المقترحة لإدارة قطاع غزة، وما إذا كان ينبغي أن تعمل هذه الحكومة الفعلية تحت مظلة السلطة الفلسطينية في حال استمرار وقف إطلاق النار الحالي، مبينة أن هذه الاجتماعات تعقد بدعوة من مصر.
ونقلت الصحيفة الأمريكية عن وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبد العاطي قوله إن الهدف هو تشكيل لجنة إدارية مكونة بالكامل من التكنوقراط من غزة، لافتاً إلى أن الهدف الرئيسي هو تمكين الفلسطينيين، بمن فيهم السلطة الفلسطينية، من إدارة غزة كجزء لا يتجزأ من الضفة الغربية، وكخطوة نحو إنشاء الدولة الفلسطينية.
تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار
وكان الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي قد شدد على ضرورة التنفيذ الكامل لاتفاق وقف الحرب في غزة، مؤكداً أهمية زيادة حجم المساعدات الإنسانية المقدمة للقطاع، بحسب بيان صادر عن الرئاسة المصرية.
وأشار السيسي، خلال استقبال رؤساء وزراء لوكسمبورغ وهولندا وبلجيكا، إلى أهمية اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة لتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، وصياغة قرار مجلس الأمن المرتقب بما يضمن وضوح الالتزامات المترتبة على جميع الأطراف، إلى جانب تضمين العناصر ذات الصلة التي تضمن فعالية القرار.
وشدد الرئيس المصري ورؤساء وزراء الدول الثلاث على ضرورة تطبيق حل الدولتين باعتباره السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام الدائم والاستقرار في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، بحسب البيان.
Eight Palestinian factions, including Hamas, are holding a meeting in Cairo this week to reach an agreement on the essential elements of a transitional administration for the Gaza Strip.
A Government Under the Umbrella of the Authority
The Washington Post reported, citing Arab and Palestinian officials, that the factions will discuss who should lead the proposed technocratic committee to manage the Gaza Strip, and whether this effective government should operate under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority if the current ceasefire continues. The meetings are being held at the invitation of Egypt.
The American newspaper quoted Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti as saying that the goal is to form an administrative committee composed entirely of technocrats from Gaza, noting that the main objective is to empower Palestinians, including the Palestinian Authority, to manage Gaza as an integral part of the West Bank, and as a step towards establishing a Palestinian state.
Consolidating the Ceasefire
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized the necessity of fully implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, stressing the importance of increasing the volume of humanitarian aid provided to the region, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian presidency.
During a meeting with the Prime Ministers of Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Belgium, Sisi highlighted the importance of taking all necessary measures to consolidate the ceasefire in Gaza, and drafting the anticipated UN Security Council resolution to ensure clarity regarding the commitments of all parties, as well as including relevant elements that ensure the effectiveness of the resolution.
The Egyptian president and the Prime Ministers of the three countries stressed the need to implement the two-state solution as the only way to achieve lasting peace and stability in the Middle East, according to the statement.
