هدد وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، بأن تل أبيب «ستتحرك إذا لم تنزع بيروت سلاح حزب الله»، زاعماً أن الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون يماطل في هذا الشأن.
وقال كاتس في منشور على منصة «إكس»، اليوم (الأحد): إن «حزب الله يلعب بالنار، والرئيس اللبناني يماطل». وأضاف: «يجب تحقيق التزام الحكومة اللبنانية بنزع سلاح حزب الله، وإبعاده عن جنوب لبنان».
وأكد أن الجيش الإسرائيلي سيستمر في فرض أقصى تطبيق للقوة، وسيتم تعميقه، لن نسمح بتهديد سكان شمال إسرائيل، على حد قوله.
وكان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نفذ ضربة على جنوب لبنان ليل السبت. وأعلن اغتيال 4 عناصر من قوة الرضوان التابعة لحزب الله بغارة على بلدة كفر رمان قضاء النبطية جنوب لبنان بينهم مسؤول الدعم اللوجستي.
غارات إسرائيلية متكررة
وتشن إسرائيل غارات متكررة على جنوب لبنان، رغم الهدنة التي توسطت فيها الولايات المتحدة بين لبنان وإسرائيل، التي دخلت حيز التنفيذ في نوفمبر 2024 بعد أكثر من عام على الأعمال القتالية، التي اندلعت بسبب الحرب الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة.
واحتفظت إسرائيل بقواتها في 5 مواقع على الأقل في جنوب لبنان بعد انتهاء المهلة المحددة لانسحابها الكامل بموجب اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
وبموجب الاتفاق، يجري إخلاء جنوب لبنان من أي أسلحة لـ«حزب الله»، وأن تنسحب القوات الإسرائيلية من المنطقة، وأن ينشر الجيش اللبناني قواته فيها.
وينص الاتفاق على أن الحكومة اللبنانية مسؤولة عن تفكيك جميع البنى التحتية العسكرية في جنوب لبنان ومصادرة جميع الأسلحة غير المصرح بها.
استعداد لبناني للتفاوض
وكان الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون، أعرب، الجمعة، عن استعداد بلاده للدخول في مفاوضات تهدف إلى إنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، بإرادة متبادلة، وبزمان ومكان يحدد لاحقاً، وطالب المجتمع الدولي بالضغط على إسرائيل للتقيّد باتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
ودعا خلال لقائه وزير خارجية ألمانيا يوهان فاديفول المجتمع الدولي، والاتحاد الأوروبي، والولايات المتحدة بالضغط على إسرائيل للتقيّد باتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المعلن في نوفمبر الماضي، وتمكين الجيش اللبناني من الانتشار حتى الحدود الجنوبية الدولية، واستكمال تنفيذ الخطط الموضوعة لبسط سيادة لبنان على كامل أراضيه، وفق بيان أصدرته الرئاسة اللبنانية عبر حسابها على منصة «إكس».
The Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, threatened that Tel Aviv "will act if Beirut does not disarm Hezbollah," claiming that Lebanese President Joseph Aoun is stalling on this matter.
Gallant said in a post on the "X" platform today (Sunday): "Hezbollah is playing with fire, and the Lebanese president is stalling." He added: "The Lebanese government must commit to disarming Hezbollah and removing it from southern Lebanon."
He confirmed that the Israeli army will continue to enforce the maximum application of force, and this will be deepened, stating, "We will not allow the residents of northern Israel to be threatened."
The Israeli occupation army carried out a strike on southern Lebanon on Saturday night. They announced the assassination of four members of Hezbollah's Radwan force in an airstrike on the town of Kfar Rouman in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, including the logistics officer.
Repeated Israeli Airstrikes
Israel has been conducting repeated airstrikes on southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire mediated by the United States between Lebanon and Israel, which came into effect in November 2024 after more than a year of hostilities that erupted due to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
Israel has maintained its forces in at least five positions in southern Lebanon after the deadline for its complete withdrawal under the ceasefire agreement expired.
According to the agreement, southern Lebanon is to be cleared of any weapons belonging to "Hezbollah," Israeli forces are to withdraw from the area, and the Lebanese army is to deploy its forces there.
The agreement stipulates that the Lebanese government is responsible for dismantling all military infrastructure in southern Lebanon and confiscating all unauthorized weapons.
Lebanese Readiness for Negotiation
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun expressed, on Friday, his country's readiness to enter into negotiations aimed at ending the Israeli occupation, with mutual consent, at a time and place to be determined later. He called on the international community to pressure Israel to adhere to the ceasefire agreement.
During his meeting with German Foreign Minister Johan Wadephol, he urged the international community, the European Union, and the United States to pressure Israel to adhere to the ceasefire agreement announced last November, and to enable the Lebanese army to deploy up to the international southern border, and to complete the implementation of the plans set to assert Lebanon's sovereignty over its entire territory, according to a statement issued by the Lebanese presidency through its account on the "X" platform.
