وجه الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي اليوم السبت رسالة ترحيبية عبر حساباته الرسمية على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إلى قادة العالم ورموزهم الكبار الذين يشاركون في افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير، أكبر صرح أثري في العالم، وذلك في خطوة تعكس عودة مصر إلى صدارة المشهد الثقافي العالمي.
معلم جديد
وقال السيسي في رسالته: «من أرض مصر الطيبة .. مهد الحضارة الإنسانية، أرحب بضيوفنا من قادة العالم ورموزه الكبار، لنشهد سوياً افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير الذي يضم بين جنباته كنوز الحضارة المصرية العريقة، ويجمع بين عبقرية المصري القديم وإبداع المصري المعاصر».
وأوضح السيسي في رسالته التي وجهها إلى قادة العالم، أن المتحف المصري الكبير: «يضيف إلى عالم الثقافة والفنون معلما جديداً، يلتف حوله كل مهتم بالحضارة والمعرفة، ويفخر به كل مؤمن بوحدة الإنسانية وقيم السلام والمحبة والتعاون بين الشعوب. أتمنى لكل الضيوف الاستمتاع بوقتهم في مصر بين رحاب الماضي والحاضر».
وتشهد مصر اليوم السبت افتتاح المتحف المصري الكبير الذي يعد أكبر متحف في العالم لحضارة واحدة، وذلك بحضور وفودا رسمية من 79 دولة حول العالم، من بينهم 39 وفداً برئاسة ملوك وأمراء ورؤساء دول وحكومات، بما يعكس اهتمام المجتمع الدولي بالحضارة المصرية العريقة وبالدور الثقافي والإنساني المتفرد الذي تضطلع به مصر.
ويأتي هذا الافتتاح بعد سنوات من التحضيرات الدقيقة، حيث يقع المتحف على بعد كيلومترات قليلة من أهرامات الجيزة، ويمتد على مساحة تزيد عن 500 ألف متر مربع، ليضم أكثر من 100 ألف قطعة أثرية، بما في ذلك كنوز توت عنخ آمون الكاملة لأول مرة.
ويُعد المتحف، الذي بلغت تكلفته حوالى مليار دولار، رمزاً للاندماج بين التراث الفرعوني والتكنولوجيا الحديثة، مع قاعات عرض تفاعلية وتقنيات واقع معزز، مما يجعله معلماً ثقافياً يجذب ملايين الزوار سنوياً ويعزز السياحة المصرية.
وُتبرز الرسالة دور المتحف كجسر بين العصور، حيث يُتوقع أن يساهم في تعزيز الحوار الحضاري العالمي، خاصة مع مشاركة قادة دوليين بارزين في الحدث، ويأتي الافتتاح في سياق جهود مصر لاستعادة مكانتها كمركز للتراث الإنساني، بعد تأجيلات سابقة بسبب التحديات الاقتصادية واللوجستية.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a welcoming message today, Saturday, via his official accounts on social media platforms, to world leaders and their prominent figures participating in the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological edifice in the world, in a move that reflects Egypt's return to the forefront of the global cultural scene.
New Landmark
In his message, El-Sisi stated: "From the blessed land of Egypt, the cradle of human civilization, I welcome our guests from world leaders and their prominent figures, as we witness together the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses the treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization, combining the genius of the ancient Egyptians with the creativity of contemporary Egyptians."
El-Sisi clarified in his message directed to world leaders that the Grand Egyptian Museum: "adds a new landmark to the world of culture and arts, gathering everyone interested in civilization and knowledge around it, and is a source of pride for all who believe in the unity of humanity and the values of peace, love, and cooperation among peoples. I hope all guests enjoy their time in Egypt amidst the embrace of the past and present."
Today, Saturday, Egypt witnesses the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is considered the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization, with the presence of official delegations from 79 countries around the world, including 39 delegations led by kings, princes, and heads of states and governments, reflecting the international community's interest in the ancient Egyptian civilization and the unique cultural and humanitarian role that Egypt plays.
This opening comes after years of meticulous preparations, as the museum is located just a few kilometers from the Pyramids of Giza, covering an area of over 500,000 square meters, and houses more than 100,000 artifacts, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun for the first time.
The museum, which cost approximately one billion dollars, is a symbol of the integration between Pharaonic heritage and modern technology, featuring interactive exhibition halls and augmented reality technologies, making it a cultural landmark that attracts millions of visitors annually and enhances Egyptian tourism.
