تمكنت قوات «المقاومة الوطنية» اليمنية من إحباط تهريب شحنة مواد كيمياوية ومعدات عسكرية كانت في طريقها إلى جماعة الحوثي عبر مضيق باب المندب.
وأعلنت شعبة الإعلام العسكري في «المقاومة الوطنية» بأن القوات البحرية وخفر السواحل بقطاع البحر الأحمر نفذت «عملية نوعية ناجحة»، تم خلالها ضبط قارب خشبي محمل بمواد كيمياوية خطيرة ومعدات عسكرية كانت في طريقها إلى الحوثيين في محافظة الحديدة، الخاضعة لسيطرتهم.
وحسب البيان، فإن شعبة الاستخبارات العامة في المقاومة الوطنية رصدت القارب المشبوه المرتبط بشبكات تهريب خارجية، بعد انطلاقه من ساحل جيبوتي متجهاً إلى موانئ يسيطر عليها الحوثي.
وأفاد بأن دورية بحرية مشتركة من خفر السواحل والبحرية الخاصة بـ«المقاومة الوطنية» تابعت القارب منذ لحظة دخوله مضيق باب المندب في التاسع من أكتوبر 2025، حتى تمت عملية الاعتراض والسيطرة عليه دون وقوع أي اشتباك.
وذكر البيان أن القارب جرى قطره إلى موقع آمن، وتم تفريغ الشحنة وتخزينها تمهيداً للتحقيق، موضحاً أن المواد المضبوطة تضمنت 24 برميلاً من مادة «الفينول الفورمالدهيد» البوليمرية، وهي مواد تُستخدم في تصنيع الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة وتقنيات التخفي.
وتضمنت الشحنة ملابس وكمامات خاصة بالمعامل الكيمياوية، وبدلات وخوذ ومناظير ميدانية ومعدات غطس بحرية، ولفائف أقمشة مموهة، ما قد يشير لطبيعتها العسكرية واستخدامها المحتمل في تطوير أنشطة تسليحية للحوثيين.
ولفت البيان إلى أن العملية تمت في إطار خطة أمنية متكاملة لتأمين البحر الأحمر ومضيق باب المندب، مشدداً على أن القوات البحرية لـ«المقاومة الوطنية» ستواصل عملياتها لملاحقة شبكات التهريب.
وتجيء هذه العملية ضمن سلسلة من العمليات السابقة التي نفذتها قوات البحرية التابعة لـ«المقاومة الوطنية» خلال الأشهر الماضية، بينها ضبط شحنة ضخمة تزن 750 طناً من الصواريخ على الساحل الغربي وإحباط تهريب آلاف الأطنان من المخدرات والممنوعات.

The military media division of the "National Resistance" announced that the naval forces and coast guard in the Red Sea sector carried out a "successful qualitative operation," during which a wooden boat loaded with dangerous chemical materials and military equipment was seized while heading to the Houthis in Al Hudaydah province, which is under their control.
According to the statement, the general intelligence division of the National Resistance monitored the suspicious boat linked to external smuggling networks after it set off from the coast of Djibouti heading towards ports controlled by the Houthis.
It was reported that a joint maritime patrol from the coast guard and the navy of the "National Resistance" tracked the boat from the moment it entered the Bab al-Mandab Strait on October 9, 2025, until the interception and control operation was carried out without any clashes.
The statement mentioned that the boat was towed to a safe location, and the cargo was unloaded and stored in preparation for investigation, clarifying that the seized materials included 24 barrels of polymeric "phenol formaldehyde," which are used in the manufacture of missiles, drones, and stealth technologies.
The shipment also included clothing and masks specific to chemical laboratories, suits, helmets, field binoculars, underwater diving equipment, and rolls of camouflage fabric, which may indicate its military nature and potential use in developing armament activities for the Houthis.
The statement emphasized that the operation was part of a comprehensive security plan to secure the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, stressing that the naval forces of the "National Resistance" will continue their operations to pursue smuggling networks.
This operation comes as part of a series of previous operations carried out by the naval forces of the "National Resistance" over the past months, including the seizure of a massive shipment weighing 750 tons of missiles on the western coast and thwarting the smuggling of thousands of tons of drugs and contraband.
