لا تزال الأنباء متضاربة بشأن معبر رفح الحدودي بين مصر وقطاع غزة، فعلى الرغم من تأكيد إسرائيل أنه مغلق، أوضح مصدر مصري مسؤول أن معبر رفح سيعمل غداً (الإثنين) لعبور المرضى والعالقين.
وقال المصدر اليوم (الأحد): «إن المعبر البري الحدودي بين مصر وقطاع غزة سيعمل غداً، بعد التنسيق بين الأطراف والجهات المعنية لفتحه في الاتجاهين».
وكانت سفارة فلسطين في القاهرة أعلنت في بيان مساء السبت أنه بعد التواصل مع الجهات المختصة في مصر سيُفتح المعبر ابتداءً من غد (الإثنين) لتمكين المواطنين الفلسطينيين المقيمين في مصر والراغبين بالعودة إلى قطاع غزة من السفر، وفق آلية التنسيق المعمول بها. ودعت جميع المواطنين الراغبين بالسفر إلى تسجيل بياناتهم وإرسالها عبر «واتساب» على رقم مخصص في السفارة.
اتهامات بخرق اتفاق وقف النار
وكان رئيس وزراء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو أكد أن المعبر سيظل مغلقاً حتى إشعار آخر، وأن إعادة فتحه ستعتمد على تسليم حماس جثث الأسرى الإسرائيليين.
من جانبها، اتهمت حماس قرار نتنياهو بالخرق الفاضح لبنود اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، معتبرة أنه تنكر للالتزامات التي تعهد بها نتنياهو أمام الوسطاء والجهات الضامنة لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
وطالبت الحركة الجهات الضامنة بإلزام إسرائيل ببنود الاتفاق كافة، مشيرة إلى أن استمرار إغلاق المعبر سيؤدي إلى تأخير عمليات انتشال وتسليم الجثث.
دخول المصابين لتلقي العلاج
وكان مسؤول مصري أعلن أن تشغيل المعبر سيقتصر على دخول المصابين الفلسطينيين لتلقي العلاج في المستشفيات المصرية، وخروج العالقين الفلسطينيين الراغبين في العودة إلى قطاع غزة فقط، مؤكداً عدم دخول أي شاحنات مساعدات من المعبر لأنه مخصص للأفراد فقط. وأوضح أن المعبر ميناء بري، مشيراً إلى أن الشاحنات التي تدخل إلى كرم أبو سالم تكون من البوابة الجانبية المجاورة لبوابة معبر رفح، وليس من معبر رفح نفسه.
ومنذ مايو 2024 تسيطر إسرائيل على الجانب الفلسطيني من معبر رفح، حيث دمرت مبانيه وأحرقتها، ومنعت الفلسطينيين من السفر، ما أدخلهم، خصوصاً المرضى، في أزمة إنسانية كبيرة.
وأعلنت إسرائيل مساء أمس (السبت) أنها تسلمت جثتي اثنين من الأسرى من الصليب الأحمر في غزة، ما يعني تسلمها 12 جثة من أصل 28 بموجب اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.
لكن إسرائيل اتهمت حماس بالتباطؤ في تسليم جثث الأسرى، فيما أكدت الحركة أن العثور على بعض الجثث وسط الدمار الواسع في غزة يحتاج إلى وقت.
The news remains conflicting regarding the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Despite Israel's confirmation that it is closed, a responsible Egyptian source clarified that the Rafah crossing will operate tomorrow (Monday) for the passage of patients and those stranded.
The source stated today (Sunday): "The land border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip will operate tomorrow, after coordination between the parties and relevant authorities to open it in both directions."
The Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced in a statement on Saturday evening that after communication with the relevant authorities in Egypt, the crossing will be opened starting tomorrow (Monday) to enable Palestinian citizens residing in Egypt who wish to return to the Gaza Strip to travel, according to the existing coordination mechanism. It urged all citizens wishing to travel to register their data and send it via "WhatsApp" to a designated number at the embassy.
Accusations of Violating the Ceasefire Agreement
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the crossing will remain closed until further notice, and that its reopening will depend on Hamas handing over the bodies of Israeli prisoners.
For its part, Hamas accused Netanyahu's decision of being a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement's terms, considering it a denial of the commitments Netanyahu made to the mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement.
The movement called on the guarantor parties to compel Israel to adhere to all terms of the agreement, indicating that the continued closure of the crossing will delay the retrieval and delivery of the bodies.
Entry of the Injured for Treatment
An Egyptian official announced that the operation of the crossing will be limited to the entry of injured Palestinians for treatment in Egyptian hospitals, and the exit of stranded Palestinians wishing to return to the Gaza Strip only, confirming that no aid trucks will enter through the crossing as it is designated for individuals only. He explained that the crossing is a land port, noting that the trucks entering Kerem Shalom do so from the side gate adjacent to the Rafah crossing gate, not from the Rafah crossing itself.
Since May 2024, Israel has controlled the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, having destroyed and burned its buildings, and prevented Palestinians from traveling, which has plunged them, especially patients, into a major humanitarian crisis.
Israel announced last night (Saturday) that it had received the bodies of two prisoners from the Red Cross in Gaza, meaning it has received 12 bodies out of 28 under the ceasefire agreement.
However, Israel accused Hamas of delaying the delivery of the prisoners' bodies, while the movement confirmed that locating some bodies amid the widespread destruction in Gaza requires time.
