أعلنت السفارة الفلسطينية في مصر، اليوم (السبت)، أنه ستتم إعادة فتح معبر رفح الحدودي الإثنين القادم، مؤكدة أن الهدف من فتح المعبر السماح للفلسطينيين المقيمين في مصر بالعودة إلى غزة.
وكان مكتب هيئة تنسيق أعمال الحكومة الإسرائيلي قد أعلن أن الاستعدادات جارية لفتح معبر رفح بالتنسيق مع مصر، من أجل عبور الأفراد فقط لا المساعدات.
مطالبات أممية
ودعت الأمم المتحدة ومنظمات إغاثية مراراً إلى إعادة فتح معبر رفح، في وقت تواجه به غزة أزمة إنسانية حادة بعد الحرب التي استمرت عامين.
ويعد معبر رفح أحد المعابر الرئيسية التي تربط غزة بالعالم الخارجي، وتشكل إعادة فتحه خطوة مهمة في ظل الأوضاع الإنسانية المتدهورة في القطاع.
وفي سياق آخر، نقلت هيئة البث الإسرائيلية عن مسؤول إسرائيلي قوله إن نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس، والمبعوث الأمريكي للشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف سيصلان إلى إسرائيل الأسبوع القادم، موضحة أن زيارة فانس وويتكوف تهدف إلى دعم وتنفيذ خطة ترمب لإنهاء الحرب في غزة.
ضحايا العدوان الإسرائيلي
من جهة أخرى، أكدت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في غزة وصول 29 قتيلاً (منهم 23 شهيداً انتشالاً، وقتيلان متأثران بإصابتهما، و4 قتلى نتيجة استهداف مباشر من الاحتلال)، إضافة إلى 143 مصاباً منذ وقف إطلاق النار.
وقالت الوزارة: خلال الـ48 ساعة الماضية أُصيب 21 فلسطينياً، لترتفع بذلك حصيلة العدوان الإسرائيلي إلى 68,116 قتيلاً، و170,200 مصاب منذ 7 أكتوبر2023.
وكانت الوزارة قد ذكرت أنه جرى انتشال جثة 404 مدنيين، واستلام 15 جثة محتجزة لدى جيش الاحتلال غير معروفة الهوية، ليصبح إجمالي الجثث المستلمة من إسرائيل 135 جثة.
The Palestinian embassy in Egypt announced today (Saturday) that the Rafah border crossing will reopen next Monday, confirming that the goal of opening the crossing is to allow Palestinians residing in Egypt to return to Gaza.
The Israeli government's coordination office announced that preparations are underway to open the Rafah crossing in coordination with Egypt, for the passage of individuals only, not aid.
UN Calls
The United Nations and relief organizations have repeatedly called for the reopening of the Rafah crossing at a time when Gaza is facing a severe humanitarian crisis following two years of war.
The Rafah crossing is one of the main crossings that connects Gaza to the outside world, and its reopening is an important step given the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the sector.
In another context, Israeli broadcasting authority reported an Israeli official saying that U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and U.S. Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff will arrive in Israel next week, clarifying that the visit of Vance and Witkoff aims to support and implement Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza.
Victims of Israeli Aggression
On another note, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed the arrival of 29 dead (including 23 martyrs recovered, two killed due to their injuries, and four killed as a result of direct targeting by the occupation), in addition to 143 injured since the ceasefire.
The ministry stated: In the past 48 hours, 21 Palestinians were injured, raising the total toll of Israeli aggression to 68,116 dead and 170,200 injured since October 7, 2023.
The ministry had mentioned that the bodies of 404 civilians were recovered, and 15 bodies held by the occupation army of unknown identity were received, bringing the total number of bodies received from Israel to 135.
