The political advisor to the Iranian leader, Ali Shamkhani, announced that no evidence has been found of any "foreign intervention" related to the assassination of the late Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi.

Ali Shamkhani stated today (Sunday): "Up until the last moment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces confirmed, based on the investigation committees, that nothing happened during the trip of the late president Ebrahim Raisi."

He pointed out that after the 12-day war with Israel, questions increased about whether Raisi's assassination was linked to Israel.

Shamkhani added that "based on the technical capabilities of the investigators, no evidence of foreign intervention in Raisi's death has been found, but it is possible that these events are beyond our technical capabilities."

The final Iranian investigation into the helicopter crash that claimed President Ebrahim Raisi's life in May 2024 was issued on September 1, 2024, attributing the cause of the incident to "bad weather conditions."

It is noted that the late Iranian president's helicopter crashed on the slopes of a fog-covered mountain in East Azerbaijan province in northeastern Iran, resulting in the death of the president and seven others.

The official Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB), citing the special committee investigating the incident and its causes, reported that the main reason for the helicopter crash was "the complex climatic and weather conditions in the area during the spring."

The report added that the sudden appearance of a dense mass of rising fog caused the helicopter to collide with the mountain.
