أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، وجود تفاهم بين بلاده والولايات المتحدة بشأن كيفية حل الصراع سلمياً في أوكرانيا، وقال بوتين خلال مؤتمر صحفي في العاصمة الطاجيكاستانية دوشنبه، اليوم (الجمعة): إن روسيا وأمريكا لا تزالان تعملان ضمن إطار الاتفاقيات التي تم التوصل إليها في ألاسكا بشأن أوكرانيا، لافتاً إلى أن هذه القضايا «معقدة». وأعرب عن دعمه لجهود الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب لإنهاء حرب غزة.
وأفاد بأن الولايات المتحدة بقيادة ترمب تسعى بصدق للتوصل إلى تسوية سلمية في أوكرانيا، مؤكداً أن نظيره الأمريكي يبذل جهوداً كبيرة لحل أزمات مستمرة منذ عقود.
إقامة دولة فلسطينية
وفيما يتعلق بخطة السلام في غزة، شدد بوتين على دعم روسيا لمبادرات ترمب في الشرق الأوسط، معتبراً أن نجاح هذه الجهود سيكون «حدثاً تاريخياً». وأكد أن روسيا تتمتع بمستوى عالٍ من الثقة لدى الدول العربية وفلسطين، مشددا أن «الأمر الأساسي هو إقامة دولة فلسطينية».
وعبر بوتين عن موقفه من لجنة نوبل للسلام، قائلاً إن الجائزة منحت مراراً لأولئك الذين «لم يفعلوا شيئاً من أجل السلام». ولفت إلى أن القمة الروسية العربية جرى تأجيلها بمبادرة منه، مؤكداً التزام بلاده بدعم مسار السلام الذي تقوده الولايات المتحدة في المنطقة.
استهداف شبكات الكهرباء
من جهة أخرى، حُرم عشرات الآلاف من الكهرباء، اليوم (الجمعة)، في 9 مناطق أوكرانية وفي كييف بعد هجوم ليلي روسي استهدف شبكة الطاقة وأسفر عن مقتل طفل وإصابة نحو 30 شخصاً بجروح.
وصعّدت روسيا ضرباتها على شبكات الكهرباء والسكك الحديد في أوكرانيا قبل عدة أسابيع مع اقتراب فصل الشتاء، مع مخاوف من استمرار الهجمات، كما في السنوات السابقة، وإغراق ملايين الأشخاص في الظلام في رابع شتاء تشهده البلاد منذ بدء العملية العسكرية الروسية في فبراير 2022.
وقالت شركة الكهرباء الأوكرانية «أوكرينيرغو»: إن الضربات الليلية تسببت في انقطاع التيار الكهربائي عن عدد كبير من المستخدمين في كييف و9 مناطق أخرى في شرق وجنوب وشمال ووسط البلاد.وأفاد مصدر في قطاع الطاقة الأوكراني بأن الكهرباء انقطعت عن «عشرات آلاف المنازل» في كييف. وأضاف أن بسبب الطقس الغائم، تمكنت العديد من الطائرات الروسية المسيرة من الإفلات من الدفاعات الجوية.
أنظمة دفاع جوي
من جانبه، قال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي: منذ أسابيع، يفعل الروس كل ما في وسعهم لإغراق البلاد في الظلام، داعياً الغرب مجدداً إلى تسليم بلاده أنظمة دفاع جوي إضافية.
وأعلنت السلطات أن الغارات أسفرت عن مقتل طفل عمره 7 سنوات في منطقة زابوريجيا، وإصابة 33 شخصا آخرين.
بدورها، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أن القوات المسلحة الروسية شنّت ليلاً ضربات واسعة النطاق استهدفت منشآت للطاقة تغذي المجمع الصناعي العسكري الأوكراني.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that there is an understanding between his country and the United States regarding how to peacefully resolve the conflict in Ukraine. During a press conference in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, today (Friday), Putin stated that Russia and America are still working within the framework of the agreements reached in Alaska concerning Ukraine, pointing out that these issues are "complex." He expressed his support for U.S. President Donald Trump's efforts to end the Gaza war.
He stated that the United States, under Trump’s leadership, is sincerely seeking to reach a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, affirming that his American counterpart is making significant efforts to resolve crises that have persisted for decades.
Establishment of a Palestinian State
Regarding the peace plan in Gaza, Putin emphasized Russia's support for Trump's initiatives in the Middle East, considering that the success of these efforts would be a "historic event." He confirmed that Russia enjoys a high level of trust among Arab countries and Palestine, stressing that "the fundamental issue is the establishment of a Palestinian state."
Putin expressed his views on the Nobel Peace Committee, stating that the prize has been awarded repeatedly to those who "have done nothing for peace." He noted that the Russian-Arab summit was postponed at his initiative, reaffirming his country's commitment to supporting the peace process led by the United States in the region.
Targeting Electricity Networks
On another note, tens of thousands were deprived of electricity today (Friday) in 9 Ukrainian regions and in Kyiv following a nighttime Russian attack targeting the power grid, which resulted in the death of a child and injuries to about 30 others.
Russia has intensified its strikes on electricity and railway networks in Ukraine in recent weeks as winter approaches, amid fears of continued attacks, as in previous years, plunging millions into darkness in the fourth winter since the start of the Russian military operation in February 2022.
The Ukrainian electricity company "Ukrenergo" reported that the nighttime strikes caused power outages for a large number of users in Kyiv and 9 other regions in the east, south, north, and center of the country. A source in the Ukrainian energy sector indicated that electricity was cut off from "tens of thousands of homes" in Kyiv. He added that due to cloudy weather, many Russian drones managed to evade air defenses.
Air Defense Systems
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated: For weeks, the Russians have been doing everything they can to plunge the country into darkness, once again calling on the West to provide his country with additional air defense systems.
Authorities announced that the strikes resulted in the death of a 7-year-old child in the Zaporizhia region and injuries to 33 others.
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian armed forces launched extensive nighttime strikes targeting energy facilities that supply the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
