أصدرت الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، بياناً رسمياً حاد اللهجة أدانت فيه بشدة استهداف مطار الخرطوم الدولي في السودان، وثلاثة مواقع إستراتيجية أخرى في شمال الخرطوم، من قبل دولة مجاورة باستخدام الطائرات المسيّرة والطائرات.
وقال الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط إن الهجوم الذي وقع أمس (الإثنين) «يمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وتهديداً مباشراً للسلم والأمن الإقليميين»، مؤكداً أنه استهدف مرافق مدنية وحيوية، مما يعرض حياة المدنيين للخطر الشديد.

وأعرب أبو الغيط عن «إدانته الشديدة» للهجمات، مشدداً على أنها «تهدف إلى توسيع نطاق النزاع وتُقوّض المساعي العربية والإقليمية والدولية للتهدئة وخفض التصعيد».
ودعا البيان جميع الأطراف إلى «الامتناع عن أي أعمال أو ممارسات من شأنها تعطيل الجهود الحثيثة للوصول إلى وقف شامل لإطلاق النار، وإحياء مسار جدة، وإطلاق حوار وطني سوداني شامل».

كما نقل المتحدث باسم الأمين العام جمال رشدي تأكيد الجامعة العربية على «وقوفها الكامل مع السودان في حفظ أمنه وسيادته ووحدة أراضيه، وحماية بنيته التحتية ومؤسساته الوطنية».
واتهمت القوات المسلحة السودانية (الثلاثاء) إثيوبيا ودولة الإمارات بتنفيذ هجوم بطائرات مسيّرة، استهدف مطار الخرطوم الدولي (الإثنين)، في رد سوداني على أحدث سلسلة من الهجمات أنهت هدوءاً نسبياً دام شهوراً في العاصمة الخرطوم.
واستدعى السودان على إثر ذلك سفيره في أديس أبابا للتشاور، في حين رفضت وزارة الخارجية الإثيوبية الاتهامات ووصفتها بأنها «لا أساس لها».
The General Secretariat of the Arab League issued a strongly worded official statement today (Tuesday) condemning the targeting of Khartoum International Airport in Sudan and three other strategic locations in northern Khartoum by a neighboring country using drones and aircraft.
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit stated that the attack which occurred yesterday (Monday) "represents a serious escalation and a direct threat to regional peace and security," emphasizing that it targeted civilian and vital facilities, putting the lives of civilians at severe risk.

Aboul Gheit expressed his "strong condemnation" of the attacks, stressing that they "aim to expand the scope of the conflict and undermine Arab, regional, and international efforts for de-escalation and calming tensions."
The statement called on all parties to "refrain from any actions or practices that would disrupt the earnest efforts to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire, revive the Jeddah process, and launch an inclusive Sudanese national dialogue."

The spokesperson for the Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdi, conveyed the Arab League's affirmation of its "full support for Sudan in preserving its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and protecting its infrastructure and national institutions."
The Sudanese Armed Forces accused Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates (Tuesday) of carrying out a drone attack that targeted Khartoum International Airport (Monday), in a Sudanese response to the latest series of attacks that ended a relative calm lasting months in the capital Khartoum.
In response, Sudan summoned its ambassador in Addis Ababa for consultations, while the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry rejected the accusations, describing them as "baseless."
