Concerns about the shutdown
About 66% of participants reported being concerned about the impact of the shutdown on government services, including 25% who are very concerned, and 41% who are somewhat concerned.
Furthermore, 82% of Democrats and 70% of independents expressed their concerns, compared to less than half of Republicans.
Support for healthcare
Seventy-one percent of Americans support extending federal support for healthcare insurance linked to the Affordable Care Act, with strong backing from Democrats (95%) and independents (80%), compared to only 38% of Republicans.
