Arab and international media revealed today (Wednesday) that former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad survived death due to poisoning, indicating that he left a hospital in the suburbs of the Russian capital on Monday morning, and that his health condition is now stable.
Embarrassment for the Russian government
These media outlets quoted a source saying: "Only his brother Maher al-Assad and the former Secretary-General for Presidential Affairs Mansour Ezzam were allowed to visit Assad during his treatment in the hospital," noting that Assad was subjected to poisoning, and that the party responsible for the operation aims to embarrass the Russian government and accuse it of eliminating him.
Living in "Moscow City""
Media reports indicate that Assad lives in "Moscow City," the upscale area of the Russian capital, and the media is prohibited from covering his family's activities. Assad left Damascus on December 8, 2024, with his family, after the opposition took control of all Syrian cities.
