أشادتْ رابطة العالم الإسلامي -بترحيبٍ كبيرٍ- بإطلاق المملكة العربية السعودية وشركائها بلجيكا والدنمارك وفرنسا وآيسلندا وإيرلندا واليابان والنرويج وسلوفينيا وإسبانيا وسويسرا والمملكة المتحدة «التحالفَ الطارئَ للاستدامة المالية للسلطة الفلسطينية».
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة، أعرب الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى عن ثقته وتطلُّعه أن يحققَ هذا التحالفُ أهدافَه، صَوْنًا لمسار السّلام وتنفيذ حل الدلتين، وفق الشرعية الدولية وقراراتها ذات الصلة.
وقال: «إنّ التكامُل الرائع في مبادرات هذا المسار السياسي الاستثنائيّ في تاريخ القضية الفلسطينية، أثبت قوّة الدبلوماسية وفعاليتها، وبهذا أحبطت المملكةُ العربية السعودية، وفي وقتٍ حرِجٍ، سعيَ حكومة الاحتلال إلى تحويل الأحداث إلى فرصةٍ لتحقيق أهدافها السياسية والعسكرية المتطرفة، وجعلتْ منها فرصةً تاريخيةً نادرةً؛ لقطع الطريق على العنف الذي تُمارسه قُوّاتُها أو تتذرع به لتبرير إجرامها، وفتح الأبواب مجدَّداً لحلّ الدولتين وتحقيق السلام الشامل الدائم الذي ينشُده الجميع».
وسأل اللهَ تعالى أن يُوفِّقَ جهودَ المملكة العربية السعودية، وشركائها كافة من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، وأن يُكلِّلَ بالنجاح العاجل مساعيها الدؤوبة في إنهاء معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني، ونيل حقوقه المشروعة.
The Muslim World League praised - with great enthusiasm - the launch by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its partners Belgium, Denmark, France, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom of the "Emergency Coalition for the Financial Sustainability of the Palestinian Authority."
In a statement from the League's General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed his confidence and hope that this coalition would achieve its goals, safeguarding the path of peace and implementing the two-state solution, in accordance with international legitimacy and its relevant resolutions.
He said: "The remarkable integration in the initiatives of this exceptional political path in the history of the Palestinian cause has proven the strength and effectiveness of diplomacy. In doing so, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has thwarted, at a critical time, the efforts of the occupying government to turn events into an opportunity to achieve its extremist political and military objectives, transforming it into a rare historical opportunity to cut off the path to the violence practiced by its forces or used as a pretext to justify its crimes, and to reopen the doors once again for the two-state solution and to achieve the comprehensive and lasting peace that everyone aspires to."
He asked Allah, the Almighty, to grant success to the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all its partner brotherly and friendly countries, and to crown its tireless endeavors to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and to attain their legitimate rights.
