أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الخميس)، أن لديه حوارا مهما وفعالا مع السعودية بشأن غزة، مؤكداً أن الجميع يريد إنهاء الحرب في غزة ويجري العمل من أجل ذلك.
وقال ترمب خلال استقباله الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان في البيت الأبيض اليوم: العديد من الأمور تقررت خلال اجتماعي مع قادة المنطقة، وسألتقي مع الجانب الإسرائيلي لبحث الأمر وما يمكن التوصل إليه بشأن غزة، مضيفاً: عقدنا اجتماعا ممتازا مع قادة منطقة الشرق الأوسط بشأن غزة وأصبحنا قريبين من التوصل لصفقة.

ولفت إلى أن لقاءه مع قادة السعودية وقطر والإمارات والأردن كان رائعا، إذ بين أنه جرى بحث أمور حاسمة، مشيراً إلى أنه يريد إطلاق جميع الرهائن المحتجزين في غزة دفعة واحدة وليس على دفعات. وشدد ترمب بالقول: سيكون علي إقناع الجانب الإسرائيلي بالمضي قدما لإطلاق سراح الرهائن والجميع يريد أن يرى نهاية لحرب غزة.
رفع العقوبات عن سورية
وفيما يتعلق بسورية، قال الرئيس الأمريكي إنه سيكون لديه اليوم إعلان مهم بشأن سورية، لكنه لم يفصح عن طبيعة هذا الإعلان، موضحاً أنه منح دمشق فرصة للتنفس بناء على طلب السعودية وتركيا وقطر برفع العقوبات.
وحول أهمية لقائه بالرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، قال ترمب: سنناقش مع الجانب التركي منظومة باتريوت والمقاتلات إف-35 وإف-16، لافتاً إلى أن تركيا تريد شراء طائرات إف-16 وإف-35، وستجري مناقشة ذلك مع الرئيس أردوغان.
على بوتين وقف الحرب
وقال ترمب إنه يسعى لإقناع أردوغان بالتوقف عن شراء النفط الروسي. وفيما يخص جهود إنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا، خاطب الرئيس الأمريكي نظيره الروسي بالقول: على بوتين وقف الحرب في أوكرانيا التي خلفت آلاف القتلى، مشيراً إلى أن دول الناتو كانت مخيبة للآمال بشأن التوقف عن شراء النفط الروسي.

He noted that his meeting with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Jordan was great, as crucial matters were discussed, pointing out that he wants to release all hostages held in Gaza at once and not in batches. Trump stressed by saying: I will have to convince the Israeli side to move forward with the release of the hostages, and everyone wants to see an end to the Gaza war.
Lifting Sanctions on Syria
Regarding Syria, the U.S. President said he would have an important announcement about Syria today, but he did not disclose the nature of this announcement, explaining that he gave Damascus a chance to breathe based on the request of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar to lift the sanctions.
On the importance of his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Trump said: We will discuss with the Turkish side the Patriot system and the F-35 and F-16 fighters, noting that Turkey wants to buy F-16 and F-35 aircraft, and this will be discussed with President Erdoğan.
Putin Must Stop the War
Trump said he is trying to convince Erdoğan to stop buying Russian oil. Regarding efforts to end the war in Ukraine, the U.S. President addressed his Russian counterpart by saying: Putin must stop the war in Ukraine, which has resulted in thousands of deaths, pointing out that NATO countries have been disappointing regarding stopping the purchase of Russian oil.
