في قصة مؤثرة تجسد عمق المعاناة الإنسانية في قطاع غزة، أفادت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الأونروا) بأن امرأة فلسطينية تبلغ من العمر أكثر من 100 عام، تدعى «جازية»، اضطرت إلى النزوح قسراً إلى جنوب القطاع وسط القصف الإسرائيلي المستمر.
هذه القصة، التي نشرتها «الأونروا» على صفحاتها الرسمية في فيسبوك ومنصة «إكس»، تبرز الواقع المأساوي لأكثر من 1.9 مليون فلسطيني نزحوا داخلياً، معظمهم مرات عديدة، في ظل حرب استمرت لأكثر من عامين، مما أدى إلى تدمير واسع للبنية التحتية ونقص حاد في الخدمات الأساسية.
الأونروا توثق المأساة
وفقًا لمنشور «الأونروا»، الذي جاء في سياق حملتها لتوثيق قصص النازحين، وُلدت جازية في بدايات القرن الـ20، وشهدت حياتها الطويلة أحداثاً تاريخية مريرة مثل النكبة عام 1948، والحروب المتكررة على غزة.

ومع اندلاع الحرب الحالية في أكتوبر 2023، أجبرت «جازية» على مغادرة منزلها في شمال أو وسط القطاع، لتنقل إلى الجنوب، إذ أصبحت خان يونس ودير البلح ملاذاً مؤقتاً لمئات الآلاف.
ونقلت «الأونروا» عنها قائلة: «كنت جالسة على كرسي معدني متحرك على طول طريق مدمر، وكل متر عبرته يترك بصمته على جسدي الضعيف».
وأعربت «جازية» عن أمنيتها الوحيدة بأن «يعيش أطفال ابنها في سلام وأمان»، في إشارة إلى أحفادها وأبناء أبنائها الذين يشاركونها النزوح.
قصة «جازية» من النكبة إلى اليوم
وتأتي قصة «جازية» في سياق أزمة إنسانية كارثية، إذ أكد تقرير الأونروا رقم 186 (أغسطس 2025) أن أكثر من 60 ألف شخص نزحوا من غزة المدينة وحدها في الأسابيع الأخيرة، معظم النزوحات ناتجة عن أوامر إخلاء إسرائيلية تغطي 86.5% من القطاع.

وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن أكثر من 600 ألف شخص تلقوا مساعدات غير غذائية مثل البطانيات والملابس الشتوية، لكن الحاجات تفوق الإمكانات.

This story, published by UNRWA on its official Facebook pages and the "X" platform, highlights the tragic reality of more than 1.9 million Palestinians who have been internally displaced, many of them multiple times, amid a war that has lasted for over two years, resulting in widespread destruction of infrastructure and a severe shortage of basic services.

According to UNRWA's post, which came as part of its campaign to document the stories of the displaced, Jazia was born in the early 20th century and has witnessed bitter historical events in her long life, such as the Nakba in 1948 and the repeated wars on Gaza.

With the outbreak of the current war in October 2023, "Jazia" was forced to leave her home in northern or central Gaza to move to the south, where Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah became temporary shelters for hundreds of thousands.
UNRWA quoted her saying: "I was sitting on a metal wheelchair along a destroyed road, and every meter I crossed leaves its mark on my frail body."
Jazia expressed her only wish that "her son's children live in peace and safety," referring to her grandchildren and the children of her children who are sharing in her displacement.

Jazia's story comes amid a catastrophic humanitarian crisis, as UNRWA's report number 186 (August 2025) confirmed that more than 60,000 people have been displaced from the city of Gaza alone in recent weeks, with most displacements resulting from Israeli evacuation orders covering 86.5% of the territory.
The report clarified that 189 UNRWA facilities are located in prohibited areas or under evacuation orders, hindering the provision of assistance to 148,000 displaced individuals who rely on the agency's shelters. The report also noted that the war has resulted in the deaths of more than 42,000 Palestinians by October 2024, with 100,000 others injured, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, where women and children make up 70% of the victims.
