حذر حلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو) اليوم (الثلاثاء) روسيا من خطورة انتهاك المجال الجوي لبلدانه الشرقية، مطالباً بوقف انتهاكاتها التصعيدية وذلك بعد عقد محادثات عاجلة تطرقت إلى انتهاك طائرة الأسبوع الماضي المجال الجوي لإستونيا.
وقالت بلدان الناتو الـ32 في بيان إن «روسيا تتحمّل المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الأفعال التصعيدية التي تحمل خطر وقوع أي حدث غير محسوب وتعرّض الأرواح للخطر.. عليها أن تتوقف»، وذلك بعد أن أكدت الحكومة النرويجية اليوم أن طائرات روسية انتهكت المجال الجوي للبلاد ثلاث مرات هذا العام، في حوادث وصفتها أوسلو بأنها «غير مقبولة».
انتهاك الأجواء غير مقبول
وقال رئيس الوزراء النرويجي يوناس غار ستور في بيان «انتهكت روسيا المجال الجوي النرويجي ثلاث مرات هذا الربيع وهذا الصيف»، مضيفاً: «لا يمكننا الجزم ما إذا كان ذلك عن عمد أم أنه خطأ ملاحي، لكن مهما كان السبب، فهو أمر غير مقبول، وقد أوضحنا ذلك للسلطات الروسية».
وكان وزير الخارجية البولندي رادوسلاف سيكورسكي قد قال أمس، إن «موسكو لا ينبغي أن تشتكي في الأمم المتحدة، إذا أُسقطت طائراتها بعد دخولها الأجواء الجوية لدول حلف الناتو».
الهجوم الأخطر
من جهتها، قالت رئيسة الوزراء الدنماركية ميته فريدريكسن اليو إن المسيّرات التي تسببت في إغلاق مطار كوبنهاغن لساعات مثّلت الهجوم الأخطر على البنى التحتية الحيوية في البلاد حتى اللحظة، موضحة أن الهجوم يتوافق مع الاتجاه الذي ظهر أخيرا لهجمات أخرى بالمسيّرات وعمليات خرق المجال الجوي وهجمات القرصنة التي تستهدف المطارات الأوروبية.
وإغلاق مطاري كوبنهاغن وأوسلو، وهما الأكثر ازدحاماً في منطقة الشمال الأوروبي، لساعات، بعد رصد مُسيَّرات في مجالهما الجوي في وقت متأخر من أمس، ما تسبب في تقطع السبل بعشرات الآلاف من الركاب بعد تحويل مسار رحلات جوية.
NATO warned Russia today (Tuesday) about the dangers of violating the airspace of its eastern countries, demanding an end to its escalatory violations following urgent talks that addressed a violation by a plane last week in Estonia.
The 32 NATO countries stated in a statement that "Russia bears full responsibility for these escalatory actions that carry the risk of any unforeseen event and endanger lives... it must stop," after the Norwegian government confirmed today that Russian planes had violated the country's airspace three times this year, in incidents that Oslo described as "unacceptable."
Violation of airspace is unacceptable
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said in a statement, "Russia has violated Norwegian airspace three times this spring and summer," adding, "We cannot determine whether this was intentional or a navigational error, but whatever the reason, it is unacceptable, and we have made that clear to the Russian authorities."
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said yesterday that "Moscow should not complain at the United Nations if its planes are shot down after entering the airspace of NATO countries."
The most dangerous attack
For her part, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated today that the drones that caused the closure of Copenhagen Airport for hours represented the most dangerous attack on the country's critical infrastructure to date, explaining that the attack aligns with the recent trend of other drone attacks, airspace violations, and cyberattacks targeting European airports.
The closure of Copenhagen and Oslo airports, the busiest in the Nordic region, for hours after drones were spotted in their airspace late yesterday, left tens of thousands of passengers stranded after flights were diverted.
