أصدر الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي، اليوم (الإثنين)، عفوًا عن الناشط السياسي علاء عبدالفتاح، و5 آخرين، وذلك عن باقي مدة العقوبة المقضي بها لعدد من المحكوم عليهم بعد استيفاء الإجراءات الدستورية والقانونية اللازمة في هذا الشأن، استجابة لمناشدة المجلس القومي لحقوق الإنسان.
المشمولون بقرار العفو
وشمل قرار العفو كلًا من: سعيد مجلي الضو عليوة، كرم عبدالسميع إسماعيل السعدني، ولاء جمال سعد محمد، علاء أحمد سيف الإسلام عبد الفتاح حمد، محمد عبدالخالق عبدالعزيز عبداللطيف، منصور عبدالجابر علي عبدالرازق.
توجيهات السيسي
وكان السيسي، وجه في وقت سابق الجهات المعنية بدراسة الالتماس، بشأن إصدار عفو رئاسي عن عدد من المحكوم عليهم بأحكام قضائية، وفق إعلام حكومي.
مناشدة حقوقية
وكان المجلس القومي لحقوق الإنسان المصري قد تقدّم بطلب رسمي إلى رئيس الجمهورية عبدالفتاح السيسي، يناشد فيه استخدام صلاحيته الدستورية في منح العفو، وذلك استجابة لمطالبات وردت إلى المجلس من أُسر المحكوم عليهم، تطلب منح أبنائهم فرصة جديدة للعودة إلى حياتهم الطبيعية، والاندماج مجددًا في أُسرهم ومجتمعاتهم.
وأكد المجلس أن هذا الالتماس يأتي في سياق التزامه بمبادئ العدالة، والرحمة، وإعادة تأهيل المحكوم عليهم، خصوصًا من أُدينوا في قضايا غير مخلة بالشرف ولم يثبت تورطهم في أعمال عنف أو إرهاب، وهم الآن في مرحلة الندم والتأهيل، ويشكل الإفراج عنهم فرصة لاسترداد حياتهم وخدمة مجتمعهم.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a pardon today (Monday) for the political activist Alaa Abdel Fattah and five others, regarding the remainder of their sentences after fulfilling the necessary constitutional and legal procedures in this matter, in response to a plea from the National Council for Human Rights.
Those Included in the Pardon Decision
The pardon decision included: Said Magli Al-Daw Aliwa, Karam Abdel Samie Ismail Al-Saadani, Walaa Jamal Saad Mohamed, Alaa Ahmed Seif Al-Islam Abdel Fattah Hamad, Mohamed Abdel Khalek Abdel Aziz Abdel Latif, Mansour Abdel Jabbar Ali Abdel Razek.
Sisi's Directives
Earlier, Sisi directed the relevant authorities to study the petition regarding the issuance of a presidential pardon for a number of individuals sentenced by judicial rulings, according to government media.
Human Rights Plea
The Egyptian National Council for Human Rights had submitted an official request to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, urging him to use his constitutional authority to grant a pardon, in response to demands received by the council from the families of those sentenced, requesting a new opportunity for their children to return to their normal lives and reintegrate into their families and communities.
The council confirmed that this petition comes in the context of its commitment to the principles of justice, mercy, and the rehabilitation of those sentenced, especially those convicted in non-moral offenses who have not been proven to be involved in acts of violence or terrorism, and who are now in a stage of remorse and rehabilitation. Their release represents an opportunity to regain their lives and serve their community.
