فيما تتحدث وسائل إعلام أمريكية أن ترمب يعتزم عقد اجتماع، غداً (الثلاثاء)، على هامش الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة مع مجموعة من القادة لمناقشة سبل تسوية الصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي؛ أعرب الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الإثنين) عن أمله في التوصل إلى تسوية دبلوماسية للصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي.
وقال ترمب لصحفيي البيت الأبيض المرافقين له خلال عودته من أريزونا إلى واشنطن: «آمل وأود أن أرى تسوية دبلوماسية للحرب في غزة»، مضيفاً: هناك الكثير من الغضب والكراهية المستمرين منذ سنوات عديدة، آمل أن نتوصل إلى تسوية.
سبل الحل
وأفادت وسائل إعلام أمريكية أن البيت الأبيض وجه دعوات بالفعل إلى قادة دول عربية وإسلامية لبحث سبل الحل، موضحة أن البيت الأبيض يخطط لبحث مشاركة هذه الدول في إعادة إعمار قطاع غزة بعد الحرب، وإمكانية نشر قوات عسكرية تابعة لها هناك كـ«قوة استقرار» تحل محل القوات الإسرائيلية بعد انسحابها.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة، قد وصفت الاعتراف بدولة فلسطينية من قبل عدة حلفاء رئيسيين لواشنطن من بينهم بريطانيا وأستراليا وكندا بأنه «استعراضي»، مؤكدة أن أولويتها «إطلاق سراح الرهائن وأمن إسرائيل».
تحذير بريطاني
من جهة أخرى، قالت وزيرة الخارجية البريطانية يفيت كوبر، اليوم، إنها حذّرت إسرائيل من ضم أجزاء من الضفة الغربية، كرد فعل على اعتراف المملكة المتحدة بدولة فلسطين، وذلك قبيل حضورها مؤتمر «حل الدولتين» المنعقد في الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك.
وأعربت «كوبر» عن قلقها من أن تتخذ إسرائيل هذا الإعلان ذريعة لضم أجزاء من الضفة الغربية المحتلة، موضحة أنها أبلغت نظيرها بأن لا يفعلوا ذلك.
ووجه مسؤولون أوروبيون كبار تحذيراً شديد اللهجة إلى إسرائيل، بعدم اتخاذ خطوات مضادة رداً على اعترافات الدول بالدولة الفلسطينية.
وذكرت «القناة 12» الإسرائيلية أن المسؤولين الأوروبيين أكدوا لإسرائيل أن الحديث بعد تزايد الاعتراف الدولي بالدولة الفلسطينية لا يجري عن «مكافأة للإرهاب» أو «عقاب لإسرائيل»، وإنما عن «خارطة طريق سياسية» لحل يفيد المنطقة، مؤكدين للإسرائيليين بأنهم سيرتكبون خطأ إذا ردوا على اعترافنا بالدولة الفلسطينية بإجراءات دبلوماسية قاسية.
تهديد أوروبي
وقال المسؤولون: «من المؤسف أننا سنضطر أيضاً إلى الانجرار لخطوات انتقامية، ولن نغض الطرف عن مسألة الضم (ضم إسرائيل للضفة الغربية) وسنطرحها على جدول الأعمال، وإذا أراد نتنياهو وحكومته تدمير الشيء المستقر الذي بنوه في الشرق الأوسط، فسوف يتحملون العواقب».
وشهدت الأيام الأخيرة اعترافات رسمية من دول كبرى مثل بريطانيا وكندا وأستراليا والبرتغال بدولة فلسطين، في تطور يُعدّ تاريخياً ويعكس تحوّلاً في المزاج السياسي الدولي تجاه القضية الفلسطينية.

Ways to Resolve
American media reported that the White House has already sent invitations to leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to discuss ways to resolve the issue, noting that the White House plans to discuss the participation of these countries in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip after the war, and the possibility of deploying their military forces there as a "stabilization force" to replace the Israeli forces after their withdrawal.
The United States had described the recognition of a Palestinian state by several key allies of Washington, including Britain, Australia, and Canada, as "theatrical," emphasizing that its priority is "the release of hostages and the security of Israel." British Warning
On another note, British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said today that she warned Israel against annexing parts of the West Bank in response to the United Kingdom's recognition of the state of Palestine, just before attending the "Two-State Solution" conference held at the United Nations in New York.
Cooper expressed her concern that Israel might use this announcement as a pretext to annex parts of the occupied West Bank, clarifying that she had informed her counterpart not to do so.
Senior European officials issued a strong warning to Israel not to take counter-steps in response to countries recognizing the Palestinian state.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that European officials assured Israel that the discussion following the increased international recognition of the Palestinian state is not about "rewarding terrorism" or "punishing Israel," but rather about a "political roadmap" for a solution that benefits the region, emphasizing to the Israelis that they would be making a mistake if they responded to our recognition of the Palestinian state with harsh diplomatic measures.European Threat
The officials stated: "It is unfortunate that we will also have to resort to retaliatory measures, and we will not turn a blind eye to the issue of annexation (Israel's annexation of the West Bank) and we will put it on the agenda.
