إلغاء 13 رحلة
وأكد المطار أنه يستمر في دعم شركات الطيران للتعامل مع المشكلة التقنية الأوروبية الواسعة، إذ أفاد المتحدث باسم المطار غرايم ماكوين بأن 13 رحلة قد أُلغيت حتى الظهر، بما في ذلك 9 رحلات واردة و4 صادرة.
وأعلنت شركة «إير لينغوس» أنها ستتأثر بشكل كبير اليوم، مما يؤدي إلى تأخيرات وإلغاءات في الرحلات، كما نصحت عملاءها بإجراء تسجيل الدخول عبر الإنترنت مسبقا، مع التزامها بتقديم التحديثات.
وأضاف ماكوين أن بعض شركات الطيران لا تزال تستخدم حلولا يدوية لإصدار ملصقات الأمتعة وبطاقات الصعود، مما يطيل الإجراءات.

كما نصح الركاب بالوصول إلى المطار كالمعتاد (ساعتان قبل الرحلات القصيرة وثلاث ساعات قبل الرحلات الطويلة)، لكنهم يُطلب منهم تخصيص وقت إضافي لتسجيل الدخول أو تسليم الأمتعة، مع الاتصال بشركة الطيران مباشرة للحصول على آخر التحديثات.
ووصفت الشركة الأم «RTX»، التي تمتلك «كولينز إيروسبيس»، الحادثة بأنها اضطراب متعلق بالأمن السيبراني أثر على برنامجها «Muse»، الذي يتيح لشركات الطيران المختلفة استخدام مكاتب التسجيل وأبواب الصعود المشتركة في المطارات، وأعربت عن أملها في حل المشكلة بأسرع وقت ممكن، دون الكشف عن تفاصيل السبب أو المدة المتوقعة للتعطيل.

The airport confirmed that it continues to support airlines in dealing with the widespread European technical issue, as airport spokesperson Graeme McQueen reported that 13 flights had been canceled by noon, including 9 incoming flights and 4 outgoing flights.
Irish airline Aer Lingus announced that it would be significantly affected today, leading to delays and cancellations of flights, and advised its customers to check in online in advance, while committing to providing updates.
McQueen added that some airlines are still using manual solutions to issue baggage tags and boarding passes, which is prolonging the procedures.

Panic Over a Travel Bag
Additionally, Terminal 2 experienced a security evacuation yesterday (Saturday) after a security alert was triggered by the discovery of a suspicious item in a travel bag around 11:30 AM local time.
The Irish police assisted the Irish Army's bomb disposal team, and permission was granted to return after the item was declared safe, but disruptions continued partially.
