أعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية اليوم (السبت) ارتفاع ضحايا المجاعة وسوء التغذية في غزة إلى 442 قتيلاً بعد وفاة شخصين بسبب الجوع خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان، إن من بين الضحايا 147 طفلاَ، مبينة أرتفاع ضحايا العدون الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة إلى 65,208 قتلى و166,271 جريحاً منذ السابع من أكتوبر 2023.
تجويع ممنهج
وشهدت المناطق الشمالية الغربية لمدينة غزة قصفاً عنيفاً وتفجير عربات مفخخة، كما نسف الاحتلال مباني سكنية في منطقة النفق شمال شرقي مدينة غزة.
وقال مدير مسؤول طبي في مجمع ناصر، إنهم استقبلوا مرضى حالتهم سيئة جداً نتيجة التجويع، مشيراً إلى أن سوء التغذية له تداعيات مستقبلية كارثية وتأثير سلبي على قدرات الطفل الذهنية حتى لو شفي منه.
وأفاد المتحدث باسم بلدية غزة عاصم النبيه أن هناك حالة عطش تجتاح مدينة غزة بعد تدمير الاحتلال 75% من الآبار المركزية، متوقعاً أن يواجه سكان مدينة غزة مزيداً من المشكلات مع قرب حلول فصل الشتاء.
ولفت إلى أنهم غير قادرين على تقديم الحد الأدنى من الخدمات لسكان مدينة غزة.
اعتداءات يومية بالضفة
في غضون ذلك، قال مكتب الأمم المتحدة للشؤون الإنسانية إن القوات الإسرائيلية أقامت 27 حاجزاً حديدياً جديداً على الأقل بالضفة الغربية، مؤكداً أن مستوطنين نفذوا 25 اعتداءً على الفلسطينيين خلال أسبوع واحد في الضفة.
وأشار المكتب إلى أن إسرائيل هدمت أو أغلقت 8 منازل و3 مبان بالضفة وهجّرت 38 شخصاً خلال أسبوع.
وقررت سلطات الاحتلال اليوم، مصادرة أراض ببلدة عناتا شمال شرق القدس لإقامة مشاريع تابعة لمستوطنة معاليه أدوميم، وذلك ضمن تصعيد متواصل في عمليات الاقتحام والاعتداءات الاستيطانية، ووسط توقعات بمصادرة عشرات آلاف الدونمات الإضافية مستقبلاً.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today (Saturday) that the number of victims of famine and malnutrition in Gaza has risen to 442 after two people died from hunger in the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated in a statement that among the victims are 147 children, noting that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 65,208 dead and 166,271 injured since October 7, 2023.
Systematic Starvation
The northwestern areas of Gaza City have witnessed heavy shelling and the detonation of explosive vehicles, while the occupation has demolished residential buildings in the tunnel area northeast of Gaza City.
The director of a medical facility at Nasser Hospital stated that they have received patients in very critical condition due to starvation, pointing out that malnutrition has catastrophic future implications and a negative impact on a child's mental abilities even if they recover from it.
The spokesperson for the Gaza Municipality, Asem Al-Nabi, reported that there is a severe water shortage sweeping through Gaza City after the occupation destroyed 75% of the central wells, expecting that the residents of Gaza City will face more problems as winter approaches.
He noted that they are unable to provide the minimum level of services to the residents of Gaza City.
Daily Attacks in the West Bank
Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that Israeli forces have established at least 27 new iron barriers in the West Bank, confirming that settlers carried out 25 attacks on Palestinians within a single week in the West Bank.
The office indicated that Israel has demolished or closed 8 homes and 3 buildings in the West Bank and displaced 38 people over the course of a week.
Today, the occupation authorities decided to confiscate land in the town of Anata northeast of Jerusalem to establish projects related to the Ma'ale Adumim settlement, as part of a continuous escalation in incursions and settlement attacks, amid expectations of the confiscation of tens of thousands of additional dunams in the future.
