ضبطت الأجهزة الأمنية السورية اليوم (السبت)، مزرعة تحتوي على غراس من نبتة «القنّب» المستخدمة في إنتاج مادة الحشيش المخدِّرة، وبحسب بيان وزارة الداخلية فإن المزرعة تقع في منطقة عفرين بريف حلب شمالي سورية.
القبض على مالك المزرعة
وأوضحت الوزارة أنّ فرع مكافحة المخدرات في محافظة حلب نفّذ، بالتعاون مع قيادة الأمن الداخلي، عملية مداهمة استهدفت إحدى المزارع في منطقة عفرين، والتي كانت مزروعة بنبتة «القنّب»، مبينة أنه جرى مصادرة الكميات المضبوطة والقبض على صاحب المزرعة وإحالته إلى الجهات القضائية المختصة.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى استمرار جهودها الحثيثة في ملاحقة جميع المتورطين في تهريب وترويج المواد المخدّرة، حمايةً لأمن المجتمع وسلامته.
أولوية الحكومة
وكانت وزارة الداخلية السورية قد قالت إنها تضع مكافحة المخدّرات في صدارة أولوياتها، معلنةً تعاوناً مفتوحاً مع الدول الصديقة والشريكة للقضاء على شبكات التهريب وصون مستقبل الأجيال، وأوضح مدير إدارة مكافحة المخدرات في وزارة الداخلية السورية، العميد خالد عيد: أن اسم سورية ارتبط بالكبتاغون على نحو مسيء لتاريخها ومكانتها في السنوات الماضية، مبيناً أن سقوط نظام الأسد وضع الحكومة الجديدة أمام مهمات جسيمة لمكافحة هذه الجريمة التي تهدد الشباب وأمن المجتمع وتفكك الروابط.
The Syrian security forces today (Saturday) seized a farm containing seedlings of the "cannabis" plant used in the production of narcotic hashish. According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, the farm is located in the Afrin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo, Syria.
Arrest of the Farm Owner
The ministry clarified that the Anti-Narcotics Branch in Aleppo province carried out, in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces, a raid targeting one of the farms in the Afrin area, which was planted with the "cannabis" plant. It indicated that the seized quantities were confiscated, and the farm owner was arrested and referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
The ministry pointed out its ongoing efforts to pursue all those involved in the trafficking and promotion of narcotic substances, in order to protect the security and safety of the community.
Government Priority
The Syrian Ministry of Interior had stated that it places the fight against drugs at the top of its priorities, announcing an open collaboration with friendly and partner countries to eliminate smuggling networks and safeguard the future of generations. The Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department at the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Khaled Eid, explained that Syria's name has been associated with Captagon in a way that tarnishes its history and status in recent years, noting that the fall of the Assad regime has placed the new government before significant tasks to combat this crime that threatens youth, community security, and social bonds.
