اتهم مسؤولون في أوكرانيا، اليوم (السبت)، روسيا بشن هجوم واسع النطاق بالصواريخ والمسيرات على مناطق عدة بأنحاء البلاد، ما أسفر عن مقتل ثلاثة أشخاص على الأقل وإصابة عشرات آخرين.
قصف البنية التحتية
وقال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي: إن الهجمات فجر اليوم استهدفت تسع مناطق، دينبروفيسك ومايكولاييف وشيرنيهيف وزابوريجيا وبولتافا وكييف وأوديسا وسومى وخاركيف، موضحاً أن الهجوم استهدف البنية التحتية في المناطق الآهلة بالسكان والمؤسسات المدنية.
وأشار إلى أن صاروخاً مزوداً بذخيرة عنقودية أصاب مبنى متعدد الطوابق في مدينة دينبرو، مبيناً أن 40 صاروخاً وحوالى 580 مسيّرة أطلقت على أوكرانيا في هجوم مكثف أسفر عن سقوط ثلاثة قتلى وعشرات الجرحى.
ترهيب المدنيين
ودعا زيلينسكي حلفاء بلاده إلى توفير مزيد من أنظمة الدفاع الجوي وفرض عقوبات إضافية على روسيا، معتبراً أن كلّ ضربة من هذا النوع ليست ضرورة عسكرية، بل استراتيجية متعمدة تنتهجها روسيا لترهيب المدنيين وتدمير منشآتنا الأساسية.
من جهته، قال الحاكم المحلي سيهيرى لايساك، إن ما لا يقل عن 26 شخصاً أصيبوا في هجوم على منطقة دينبروفيسك بوسط أوكرانيا، وجرى تدمير مبانٍ شاهقة الارتفاع ومنازل عدة في مدينة دينبرو بشرق البلاد.
وذكرت السلطات المحلية في كييف إن الهجمات استهدفت مناطق بوتشا وبوريسبيل واوبوخيف، ولحق الدمار منزلاً وعدداً من السيارات، وفي منطقة لفيف، بغرب أوكرانيا، قال الحاكم ماكسيم كوزيتسكى إنه تم إسقاط صاروخين
من طراز كروز.
وذكرت القوات الجوية الأوكرانية في بيان: «إن الطيران التكتيكي، خصوصاً المقاتلات من طراز إف-16، تعامل بفعالية مع صواريخ كروز التي أطلقتها روسيا، وقد أثبتت الأسلحة الغربية مرة أخرى فعاليتها في أرض العركة».
بالمقابل، قالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية أن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي دمرت، خلال الليلة الماضية، 149 مسيرة أوكرانية في أجواء القرم ومقاطعات روستوف وساراتوف وبريانسك وسامارا وفولغوغراد وبيلغورود وفورونيج وكالوغا وكورسك وسمولينسك ونيجني نوفغورود وفوق مياه البحر الأسود وبحر آزوف.
وكانت أوكرانيا قد هاجمت، أمس، البنية التحتية لمحطة زاباروجيا للطاقة النووية بثلاث طائرات مسيرة، دون وقوع أضرار أو إصابات، حسبما ذكرت إدارة المحطة.
Ukrainian officials accused Russia today (Saturday) of launching a large-scale missile and drone attack on several areas across the country, resulting in the deaths of at least three people and injuring dozens more.
Infrastructure Bombing
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the attacks early this morning targeted nine regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv, explaining that the attack targeted infrastructure in populated areas and civilian institutions.
He noted that a missile equipped with cluster munitions hit a multi-story building in the city of Dnipro, indicating that 40 missiles and about 580 drones were launched at Ukraine in an intensive attack that resulted in three fatalities and dozens of injuries.
Intimidation of Civilians
Zelensky urged his country's allies to provide more air defense systems and impose additional sanctions on Russia, considering that each strike of this kind is not a military necessity but a deliberate strategy employed by Russia to intimidate civilians and destroy our essential facilities.
For his part, local governor Sihiry Laisak stated that at least 26 people were injured in an attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region in central Ukraine, with high-rise buildings and several homes destroyed in the city of Dnipro in the east of the country.
Local authorities in Kyiv reported that the attacks targeted the areas of Bucha, Boryspil, and Obukhiv, causing damage to a house and several cars. In the Lviv region, in western Ukraine, Governor Maksym Kozytskyi stated that two cruise missiles were shot down.
The Ukrainian Air Force stated in a statement: "Tactical aviation, especially F-16 fighters, effectively dealt with the cruise missiles launched by Russia, proving once again the effectiveness of Western weapons on the battlefield."
In contrast, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that air defense systems destroyed 149 Ukrainian drones in the skies over Crimea and the Rostov, Saratov, Bryansk, Samara, Volgograd, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Smolensk, and Nizhny Novgorod regions, as well as over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov during the night.
Ukraine had attacked the infrastructure of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant yesterday with three drones, with no damage or injuries reported, according to the plant's administration.
