توغلت الدبابات والآليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية، اليوم (الخميس)، في شمال مدينة غزة، وسط قصف مدفعي وجوي كثيف، وتفجير للمنازل عبر بـ«روبوتات مفخخة» في خطوة لإجبار المدنيين على النزوح إلى جنوب القطاع.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية «وفا» أن القوات الإسرائيلية نفذت عمليات تدمير للبنية التحتية ونسف لمبان سكنية جنوب وشمال مدينة غزة، لافتة إلى استمرار انقطاع خدمات الإنترنت والاتصالات الأرضية في محافظتي غزة وشمال غزة، جرّاء استهداف الجيش الإسرائيلي المسارات الرئيسية للشبكة.
مقتل 35 فلسطينياً
أكدت مصادر طبية فلسطينية أن 35 شخصاً قتلوا في غارات إسرائيلية استهدفت شارع عايدية غربي مدينة غزة ومواقع أخرى ومنزلاً في منطقة المشتل شمال غربي المدينة.
وفي ذات السياق، أكدت وزارة الصحة في قطاع غزة، وفاة 4 نتيجة المجاعة وسوء التغذية، بينهم طفل، خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية، مبينة ارتفاع إجمالي وفيات سوء التغذية إلى 435 قتيلا، بينهم 147 طفلا.
وحذر مدير منظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس جيبريسوس، اليوم، من أن التوغل العسكري الإسرائيلي وأوامر الإخلاء في شمال غزة تدفع بموجات جديدة من النزوح وتجبر العائلات على الانتقال إلى مناطق غير صالحة للعيش، مبينا أن المصابين وذوي الإعاقة غير قادرين على الانتقال إلى أماكن آمنة، فيما المستشفيات على وشك الانهيار مع تصاعد العنف الذي يمنع وصول الإمدادات الطبية، داعيا إلى إنهاء فوري لهذه الظروف اللاإنسانية ووقف إطلاق النار.
قتيلان إسرائيليان
بالمقابل، ذكرت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، اليوم، إن جنديين قتلا وأصيب 8 آخرون بجروح، جراء انفجار عبوة ناسفة استهدفت قوة للاحتلال في مدينة رفح جنوب قطاع غزة.
وتواصل إسرائيل قطع الاتصالات الأرضية وخدمات الإنترنت عن غزة لليوم الثاني على التوالي.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت الممثلة الروسية لدى السلطة الفلسطينية، اليوم، نجاحها في إجلاء عدد من مواطنيها في قطاع غزة أمس.
Israeli tanks and military vehicles advanced today (Thursday) into northern Gaza City, amid heavy artillery and air bombardment, and the demolition of homes using "explosive robots" in a move to force civilians to flee to the southern part of the Strip.
The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that Israeli forces carried out operations to destroy infrastructure and demolish residential buildings in the south and north of Gaza City, noting that internet and landline communication services continue to be disrupted in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, due to the Israeli army targeting the main routes of the network.
35 Palestinians Killed
Palestinian medical sources confirmed that 35 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting Al-Aidiyah Street west of Gaza City and other sites, as well as a house in the Al-Mashtal area in the northwest of the city.
In the same context, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed the death of 4 individuals due to famine and malnutrition, including a child, in the past 24 hours, indicating that the total number of deaths from malnutrition has risen to 435, including 147 children.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, warned today that the Israeli military incursion and evacuation orders in northern Gaza are driving new waves of displacement and forcing families to move to unlivable areas, pointing out that the injured and disabled are unable to move to safe places, while hospitals are on the verge of collapse as violence escalates, preventing the delivery of medical supplies, calling for an immediate end to these inhumane conditions and a ceasefire.
Two Israeli Soldiers Killed
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported today that two soldiers were killed and 8 others were injured due to an explosion targeting an occupation force in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Israel continues to cut off landline communications and internet services to Gaza for the second consecutive day.
On another note, the Russian representative to the Palestinian Authority announced today that she successfully evacuated a number of her citizens from the Gaza Strip yesterday.
