أعلنت المتحدثة باسم الحكومة الإيرانية فاطمة مهاجراني، اليوم (الأربعاء) تبادل الرسائل غير المباشرة بين إيران وأمريكا، مؤكدة أنها ما زالت مستمرة.
فيما قال المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، إنه خلال الأشهر الماضية، ومع بدء المفاوضات غير المباشرة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، سعت دول مختلفة في المنطقة إلى تسهيل المسار، موضحاً أن إيران أعربت عن تقديرها لكل هذه الجهود الإيجابية، لكن رغم ذلك لم يتم تعيين أي دولة كوسيط رسمي.
قيود غير مسبوقة
وأشار إلى أن هناك قيوداً غير مسبوقة على الوفود الإيرانية في الأمم المتحدة، معتبراً أن خطوة أمريكا تتعارض مع التزاماتها كدولة مضيفة، في إشارة منه إلى إيقاف التأشيرات.
واعتبر فرض القيود على التأشيرات بحق وفود بعثة النظام الإيراني في اجتماعات الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك ليس أمراً جديداً، لكنه هذه المرة غير مسبوق ويتعارض بشكل واضح مع التزامات الولايات المتحدة كدولة مضيفة لمقر الأمم المتحدة، ما يضعف أكثر مصداقية هذا البلد، بحسب قوله.
إعدام شهبازي
من جهة أخرى، أعدمت السلطات الإيرانية اليوم، شخصاً متهماً بالتخابر لصالح إسرائيل يُدعى باباك شهبازي، وبحسب ذكرت هيئة الإذاعة والتلفزيون الإيرانية الرسمية فإن شهبازي اتهم بالتعاون مع أجهزة الاستخبارات الإسرائيلية وتزويدها بمعلومات سرية، وبعد إقرار المحكمة العليا في إيران الحكم، تم تنفيذ حكم الإعدام شنقاً.
واتهم شهبازي بالتعاون مع إسماعيل فكري، وهو مدان آخر أُعدم في يونيو بالتخابر لصالح إسرائيل منذ أوائل عام 2022، كما واجه شهبازي اتهامات باستغلال عمله كمقاول تركيبات أجهزة تبريد لجمع معلومات من مواقع حساسة مثل غرف الخوادم، بالإضافة إلى مراكز مرتبطة بالأجهزة العسكرية والأمنية.
وكان محامي المتهم قد طلب الطعن على الحكم أمام المحكمة العليا، التي رفضت الطلب.

Unprecedented Restrictions
He pointed out that there are unprecedented restrictions on Iranian delegations at the United Nations, considering that the U.S. step contradicts its obligations as a host country, referring to the suspension of visas.
He considered the imposition of visa restrictions on the Iranian regime's delegations at United Nations meetings in New York not a new matter, but this time it is unprecedented and clearly contradicts the United States' obligations as the host country of the United Nations headquarters, which further undermines the credibility of this country, according to him.
Execution of Shahbazi
On another note, Iranian authorities executed a person today accused of espionage for Israel named Babak Shahbazi. According to the official Iranian Radio and Television, Shahbazi was accused of collaborating with Israeli intelligence and providing them with confidential information. After the Iranian Supreme Court upheld the sentence, the execution was carried out by hanging.
Shahbazi was accused of collaborating with Ismail Fakhri, another convicted individual who was executed in June for espionage for Israel since early 2022. Shahbazi also faced charges of exploiting his work as a contractor for cooling system installations to gather information from sensitive sites such as server rooms, in addition to centers related to military and security agencies.
The defendant's lawyer had requested to appeal the ruling before the Supreme Court, which rejected the request.
