كشفت وكالة بلومبيرغ، اليوم (الخميس)، عن منع شركات أسلحة إسرائيلية من المشاركة في معرض دبي للطيران بالإمارات في نوفمبر القادم.
وقال مسؤول كبير لـ«بلومبيرغ»، طلب عدم ذكر اسمه أو جنسيته، إن منظمي معرض دبي للطيران، الذي يعتبر أحد أكبر المعارض العالمية في مجال الطيران والفضاء، بعثوا برسالة إلى عدد من الشركات الإسرائيلية، وأبلغوها بأنه لن يسمح لها بالمشاركة هذا العام، وهو ما أكدته صحيفة «هآريتس» الإسرائيلية، وقالت إن الشركات الإسرائيلية تلقت المنع.
معارض سلاح دبي بلا إسرائيل
وأضاف المسؤول للوكالة أن رسالة منظمي المعرض استندت إلى وجود نقائص في المؤهلات المهنية لدى هذه الشركات، وتم توقيعها بتاريخ 9 سبتمبر، وهو يوم تنفيذ الضربة الإسرائيلية على الدوحة، موضحاً أن المنظمين كانوا قد أبلغوا بشكل غير رسمي، في وقت سابق، عن نيتهم استبعاد إسرائيل من المعرض.
وأفادت الوكالة أن وزارة الدفاع الإسرائيلية أكدت تلقيها إشعاراً من منظمي المعرض، لكنها امتنعت عن تقديم تفاصيل.
منع بريطاني لمسؤولين إسرائيليين
وكانت بريطانيا قد منعت هذا الأسبوع مسؤولين إسرائيليين من المشاركة في أكبر معرض عسكري على أراضيها، بسبب الحرب على غزة.
وقال متحدث باسم الحكومة البريطانية الشهر الماضي: قرار الحكومة الإسرائيلية بتصعيد عمليتها العسكرية في غزة هو قرار خاطئ، ونتيجة لذلك، يمكننا تأكيد أنه لن تتم دعوة أي وفد حكومي إسرائيلي لحضور معرض لندن، مشدداً على ضرورة أن يكون هناك حل دبلوماسي لإنهاء هذه الحرب الآن.
حجب فرنسي لأسلحة إسرائيل
وفي يونيو، حجبت السلطات الفرنسية أجنحة عدة شركات أسلحة إسرائيلية في معرض في مدينة فيلبانت القريبة باريس للطيران.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية الفرنسية حينها إنه لا يمكن قبول الترويج لأسلحة على الأراضي الفرنسية، قد يتم استخدامها في غزة، فيما قال متحدث باسم منظمي المعرض إنه بموجب قرار اتخذته سلطات الحكومة، لن يكون هناك قسم عرض إسرائيلي في معرض يورو ساتوري 2024.
وقالت وزارة الدفاع الفرنسية إنه لم تستوف الشروط لاستضافة شركات إسرائيلية في المعرض.
Bloomberg Agency revealed today (Thursday) that Israeli arms companies have been banned from participating in the Dubai Airshow in the UAE next November.
A senior official told "Bloomberg," who requested anonymity and did not disclose their nationality, that the organizers of the Dubai Airshow, which is considered one of the largest global exhibitions in the field of aviation and space, sent a message to several Israeli companies, informing them that they would not be allowed to participate this year, a fact confirmed by the Israeli newspaper "Haaretz," which stated that the Israeli companies received the ban.
Dubai Arms Exhibitions Without Israel
The official added to the agency that the message from the exhibition organizers was based on the existence of deficiencies in the professional qualifications of these companies, and it was signed on September 9, the day of the Israeli strike on Doha, clarifying that the organizers had informally notified earlier of their intention to exclude Israel from the exhibition.
The agency reported that the Israeli Ministry of Defense confirmed receiving a notice from the exhibition organizers, but refrained from providing details.
British Ban on Israeli Officials
Britain had banned this week Israeli officials from participating in the largest military exhibition on its territory due to the war on Gaza.
A spokesperson for the British government said last month: The Israeli government's decision to escalate its military operation in Gaza is a wrong decision, and as a result, we can confirm that no Israeli government delegation will be invited to attend the London exhibition, emphasizing the need for a diplomatic solution to end this war now.
French Block on Israeli Weapons
In June, French authorities blocked the booths of several Israeli arms companies at an exhibition in Villepinte, near Paris.
The French Foreign Ministry stated at the time that promoting weapons on French soil that may be used in Gaza cannot be accepted, while a spokesperson for the exhibition organizers said that under a decision made by government authorities, there would be no Israeli display section at the EuroSatory 2024 exhibition.
The French Ministry of Defense stated that the conditions for hosting Israeli companies at the exhibition were not met.
