أدانت الحكومة الأردنية، اليوم، بأشدّ العبارات، التصريحات العدائية المرفوضة التي يطلقها متطرفو الحكومة الإسرائيلية بشأن تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم، وآخرها تصريحات رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي حول تهجير الفلسطينيين من قطاع غزة عبر معبر رفح.
وعد المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأردنية فؤاد المجالي التصريحات خرقاً فاضحاً للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وتعدياً سافراً على حق الشعب الفلسطيني غير القابل للتصرف في البقاء على أرضه وإقامة دولته الفلسطينية المستقلة ذات السيادة على خطوط الرابع من يونيو عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وجدّد المجالي تأكيد رفض الأردن المطلق لتهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم بوصفه جريمة حرب ستتصدى لها بكل إمكاناتها، مؤكّداً دعم بلاده موقف جمهورية مصر العربية الرافض لتهجير الفلسطينيين من غزة ومحاولة تصفية القضية الفلسطينية.
ودعا المجالي المجتمع الدولي إلى تحمل مسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية، وإلزام إسرائيل وحكومتها المتطرفة بوقف عدوانها على غزة، وتصريحات مسؤوليها التحريضية، وتوفير الحماية اللازمة للشعب الفلسطيني وتلبية حقوقه المشروعة في إقامة دولته المستقلة ذات السيادة على ترابه الوطني، بوصفها السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل الذي يضمن الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
The Jordanian government condemned today, in the strongest terms, the unacceptable hostile statements made by extremists in the Israeli government regarding the displacement of Palestinians from their land, the latest being the statements by the Israeli Prime Minister about the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
The spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Majali, described the statements as a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and a gross infringement on the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to remain on their land and establish their independent sovereign Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Majali reiterated Jordan's absolute rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their land, describing it as a war crime that will be confronted with all available means, affirming his country's support for the position of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which opposes the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
Majali called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, to compel Israel and its extremist government to stop their aggression against Gaza, their inciting statements, and to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people and fulfill their legitimate rights to establish their independent sovereign state on their national soil, as the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.
