يزور وفد أمني عراقي رفيع المستوى غداً (الخميس) السعودية لمناقشة عدد من الملفات الأمنية والقضايا المشتركة، وفقاً لما ذكرته وكالة الأنباء العراقية «واع».
وأفادت الوكالة بأن الوفد الذي سيزور السعودية سيضم مدير مكتب القائد العام للقوات المسلحة الفريق أول الركن عبد الأمير الشمري رئيساً للوفد، ورئيس جهاز المخابرات حميد الشطري، وقائد الدفاع الجوي الفريق مهند الأسدي، ورئيس جهاز مكافحة الإرهاب الفريق الركن زيد حوشي.
وذكرت الوكالة أن الوفد سيبحث مع الجانب السعودي عدداً من الملفات الأمنية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، من بينها الاعتداءات التي تعرضت لها المملكة، وملف الطائرات المسيّرة، فضلاً عن سبل تعزيز التنسيق والتعاون الأمني بين البلدين.
A high-level Iraqi security delegation will visit Saudi Arabia tomorrow (Thursday) to discuss a number of security files and common issues, according to the Iraqi News Agency "INA".
The agency reported that the delegation visiting Saudi Arabia will include the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, as the head of the delegation, the head of the Intelligence Agency Hamid Al-Shatri, the Air Defense Commander Lieutenant General Muhannad Al-Asadi, and the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Houshi.
The agency mentioned that the delegation will discuss with the Saudi side a number of security files of mutual interest, including the attacks that targeted the Kingdom, the issue of drones, as well as ways to enhance security coordination and cooperation between the two countries.
