The Washington Post revealed today (Sunday) the plans of President Donald Trump's administration to manage the Gaza Strip and relocate residents to safe areas, confirming that the administration plans to move some residents of Gaza to secure areas within the strip.

It pointed out that the plan includes the complete resettlement of Gaza's residents, indicating that the Trump administration wants to transform Gaza into a tourist center under American oversight for 10 years.

The newspaper mentioned that the U.S. administration will establish a trust fund to resettle Gaza's residents both abroad and within the territory, noting that the 38-page plan includes at least a temporary relocation of all residents of Gaza, who number more than two million, either through what it described as voluntary departure to another country or to restricted and secure areas within the strip during the reconstruction.

The newspaper reported that the trust fund for landowners will provide a digital token in exchange for the rights to redevelop their properties, to be used to finance a new life elsewhere outside Gaza, or eventually to be exchanged for an apartment in one of 6 to 8 new smart cities supported by artificial intelligence that will be built in Gaza.

The emergency Arab summit in Cairo announced its rejection of all plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, affirming its readiness to form a non-factional committee to manage the Gaza Strip for 6 months under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority.

The final statement called for the deployment of UN peacekeeping forces in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
