بعد يومين من التعتيم، أقر الحوثيون، اليوم (السبت)، بمقتل رئيس وزراء حكومة الانقلاب أحمد غالب الرهوي وعدد من وزرائه في ضربة إسرائيلية استهدفت منزلاً كانوا يعقدون فيها اجتماعاً لمتابعة خطاب زعيم الجماعة عبدالملك الحوثي يوم (الخميس).
ونقلت قناة المسيرة الحوثية عن بيان صادر عن ما يسمى بالمجلس السياسي الحوثي قوله: إن القصف استهدف رئيس حكومته وعدداً من الوزراء أثناء ورشة عمل اعتيادية، موضحاً أن عدداً آخر من الوزراء أصيبوا بجروح متوسطة وخطيرة. وكانت مصادر يمنية مطلعة قد نقلت عن مقربين من الرهوي عقب الغارة الإسرائيلية على منزل في مدينة حدة وسط العاصمة اليمنية صنعاء التي يسيطر عليها الحوثي، مقتل رئيس وزراء حكومة الانقلاب أحمد غالب الرهوي و9 وزراء آخرين كانوا في جلسة لمتابعة خطاب زعيم الجماعة عبدالملك الحوثي.
وذكرت المصادر أن من بين القتلى نائب وزير الداخلية في حكومة الانقلاب اللواء عبدالمجيد صغير أحمد المرتضى وضباط عسكريون وأمنيون، مبينة أن القصف تسبب في تضرر عدد من المباني المجاورة والسيارات، بما فيها منازل مجاورة. وأفادت المصادر أن الحوثيين أغلقوا حي حدة بالكامل ونشروا مسلحين في كافة الأحياء والشوارع الرئيسية في صنعاء منذ مساء الخميس الماضي، فيما قال سكان محليون إن الحوثيين أغلقوا عدداً من المستشفيات أمام الزوار، بما فيها المستشفى العسكري. وذكرت المصادر أن من بين الجرحى الذين لا يزال وضعهم خطيراً وزير النقل والأشغال العامة في حكومة الانقلاب محمد عياش قحيم.
Two days after the blackout, the Houthis acknowledged today (Saturday) the killing of the Prime Minister of the coup government, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi, along with several of his ministers in an Israeli strike that targeted a house where they were holding a meeting to follow up on the speech of the group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, on (Thursday).
The Houthi-al-Masirah channel reported a statement from what is known as the Houthi Political Council, stating that the bombing targeted the Prime Minister and several ministers during a routine workshop, explaining that several other ministers sustained moderate to serious injuries. Informed Yemeni sources reported that close associates of al-Rahawi confirmed after the Israeli raid on a house in the Hadda neighborhood in the capital, Sana'a, which is controlled by the Houthis, that Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi and 9 other ministers were killed while attending a session to follow up on the speech of the group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
Sources mentioned that among the dead was the Deputy Minister of Interior in the coup government, Major General Abdul-Majid Saghir Ahmed al-Murtada, along with military and security officers, indicating that the bombing caused damage to several nearby buildings and vehicles, including neighboring houses. The sources reported that the Houthis completely sealed off the Hadda neighborhood and deployed armed men throughout all neighborhoods and main streets in Sana'a since last Thursday evening, while local residents stated that the Houthis closed several hospitals to visitors, including the military hospital. The sources noted that among the injured, whose condition remains critical, is the Minister of Transport and Public Works in the coup government, Mohammed Ayash Qahim.
