في إطار الدعم السعودي المتواصل لتعزيز الاستقرار والتنمية في اليمن، عقد وزير الدولة محافظ العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، عبدالرحمن شيخ، اجتماعاً رفيعاً في ديوان عام المحافظة، مع مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في عدن، أحمد مدخلي، والوفد المرافق له؛ لبحث آفاق التعاون المشترك ودفع عجلة المشاريع التنموية والخدمية ذات الأولوية.
شراكة تنموية لتعزيز الشرايين الحيوية
واستعرض الاجتماع، الذي حضره وكلاء محافظة عدن عدنان الكاف، وغسان الزامكي، وعبدالعزيز المنصوري، ومدير مكتب الأشغال العامة والطرق المهندس وليد الصراري، جملة من المشاريع الحيوية المزمع تنفيذها خلال المرحلة القادمة، وفي مقدمتها «مشروع الطريق البحري»، كما جرى بحث الحلول الجذرية لمشكلة جسر البريقة، مع التأكيد على سرعة رفع الدراسات الأولية الخاصة بالمشروع إلى البرنامج للبدء في التنفيذ.
تحسين الخدمات ومواجهة تحديات الطاقة
وناقش الجانبان آليات دعم وتطوير مشاريع مطار عدن الدولي، وتأمين إمدادات الوقود لمحطات توليد الكهرباء لضمان استمرارية الخدمة، علاوة على النهوض بالقطاع الصحي وتعزيز قدراته التشغيلية لتجاوز التحديات الراهنة وتقديم أفضل الخدمات للمواطنين.
تذليل العقبات وتكامل الجهود الميدانية
من جانبه، أشاد محافظ عدن، بالدور الريادي والجهود الدؤوبة التي يبذلها البرنامج السعودي في ترميم البنية التحتية وتحسين جودة الخدمات الأساسية، مؤكداً أن السلطة المحلية لن تدخر جهداً في تذليل الصعاب كافة وتهيئة المناخ الملائم لإنجاز هذه المشاريع.

بدورهم، أكد ممثلو البرنامج السعودي استمرار الدعم السخي للمشاريع التنموية؛ إنفاذاً للتوجيهات السامية الكريمة من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان لدعم الشعب اليمني والارتقاء بمستوى معيشته.
As part of the ongoing Saudi support to enhance stability and development in Yemen, the Minister of State and Governor of the temporary capital Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, held a high-level meeting at the governorate's headquarters with the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Aden, Ahmed Madkhali, and his accompanying delegation; to discuss prospects for joint cooperation and to accelerate priority developmental and service projects.
Development Partnership to Enhance Vital Arteries
The meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Governors of Aden, Adnan Al-Kaf, Ghassan Al-Zamki, and Abdulaziz Al-Mansouri, as well as the Director of the Public Works and Roads Office, Engineer Walid Al-Sarari, reviewed a number of vital projects planned for implementation in the upcoming phase, foremost among them being the "Marine Road Project." The meeting also discussed fundamental solutions to the problem of the Buraika Bridge, with an emphasis on the swift submission of the initial studies related to the project to the program to begin implementation.
Improving Services and Facing Energy Challenges
The two sides discussed mechanisms to support and develop projects at Aden International Airport, securing fuel supplies for power generation stations to ensure service continuity, in addition to advancing the health sector and enhancing its operational capabilities to overcome current challenges and provide the best services to citizens.
Overcoming Obstacles and Integrating Field Efforts
For his part, the Governor of Aden praised the pioneering role and tireless efforts exerted by the Saudi program in restoring infrastructure and improving the quality of essential services, affirming that the local authority will spare no effort in overcoming all difficulties and creating a suitable environment for the completion of these projects.

For their part, representatives of the Saudi program confirmed the continuation of generous support for developmental projects; in implementation of the noble directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman to support the Yemeni people and elevate their living standards.
