حذّر رئيس الوزراء الفرنسي، فرانسوا بايرو، من إجراء انتخابات جديدة، مؤكداً أنه سيتفاوض مباشرة مع النواب الأسبوع القادم.
وأفادت وكالة «بلومبرغ» أن بايرو حذّر من إجراء انتخابات جديدة، في ظل معركته لمنع البرلمان من إجباره على الاستقالة عبر تصويت على الثقة في 8 سبتمبر القادم، مبينة أن قرار بايرو المفاجئ بإجراء تصويت على الثقة يعيد فرنسا إلى حافة الشلل السياسي، ما يهدد باضطرابات مالية واقتصادية محتملة.
وتواجه فرنسا خطر الدخول في فراغ حكومي في ظل افتقار بايرو إلى الأغلبية البرلمانية، وتوحد الأحزاب المعارضة ضده بهدف إسقاطه، وغياب رؤية واضحة للتعامل مع عبء الدين العام، الذي وصفه رئيس الوزراء بـ«المدمر».
وكان بايرو قد قال في تصريحات صحفية: «خلال الأيام الـ12 المتبقية، ستدرك الأحزاب السياسية التي أعلنت نيتها إسقاط الحكومة أنها تسرّعت في قرارها وتجاوزت الحد»، محذراً من إجراء انتخابات برلمانية جديدة.
ولفت إلى أن مطالب اليسار المتطرف واليمين المتطرف متعارضة تماماً، متسائلاً: هل سيمنحنا حل البرلمان استقراراً، وهل سيمنح البلاد وحكومتها الإرادة والعزيمة للمضي قدماً؟ لا أظن ذلك.
يُذكر أن ميشيل بارنييه أُطيح به في ظروف مشابهة في ديسمبر الماضي، بعدما انقسمت الجمعية الوطنية (البرلمان) إلى ثلاثة تكتلات متعارضة يصعب التوفيق بينها، بعد أن دعا الرئيس إيمانويل ماكرون إلى انتخابات مبكرة في يونيو من العام الماضي.

Bloomberg reported that Bayrou warned against new elections amid his struggle to prevent Parliament from forcing him to resign through a vote of confidence on September 8, indicating that Bayrou's sudden decision to hold a vote of confidence brings France back to the brink of political paralysis, threatening potential financial and economic turmoil.
France faces the risk of entering a governmental vacuum due to Bayrou's lack of a parliamentary majority, the unification of opposition parties against him aiming to oust him, and the absence of a clear vision to deal with the burden of public debt, which the Prime Minister described as "devastating."
Bayrou stated in press remarks: "In the remaining 12 days, the political parties that announced their intention to overthrow the government will realize that they rushed their decision and crossed the line," warning against holding new parliamentary elections.
He pointed out that the demands of the far-left and far-right are completely contradictory, asking: Will dissolving Parliament grant us stability, and will it give the country and its government the will and determination to move forward? I don’t think so.
It is noteworthy that Michel Barnier was ousted under similar circumstances last December, after the National Assembly (Parliament) split into three conflicting blocs that are difficult to reconcile, following President Emmanuel Macron's call for early elections in June of last year.
