داهمت الأجهزة الأمنية السورية موقع خلية تابعة لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي في محافظة إدلب. وطوقت قوات الأمن الداخلي، منزلاً قرب شارع شركة الكهرباء في بلدة أطمة شمالي إدلب، بعد ورود معلومات عن وجود خلية تابعة لداعش داخله.
وجرت العملية بالتنسيق مع طيران التحالف الدولي بعد منتصف ليل الثلاثاء/الأربعاء، حيث شهدت المنطقة تحليقاً كثيفاً لمروحيات هليكوبتر.
فيما اندلعت اشتباكات متقطعة على الأرض بين عناصر من التحالف ومسلح يُعتقد أنه تابع للتنظيم، وقتل خلال عملية إنزال جوي دقيقة.
وشهدت منطقة الدويلعة في العاصمة دمشق في يونيو الماضي هجوماً إرهابياً استهدف كنيسة مار الياس، ما أدى إلى مقتل نحو 25 شخصاً، بعدما اقتحم مسلح المكان وفتح النار على المصلين، وتبعه آخر أيضا. وكشفت وزارة الداخلية أن المهاجمين أتيا من مخيم الهول عبر البادية من أجل تنفيذ جريمتهما، مؤكدة أنهما ينتميان لداعش.
في غضون ذلك، كشف المبعوث الأمريكي توم براك أنه التقى شيخ عقل الدروز في إسرائيل موفق طريف في العاصمة الفرنسية باريس.
ووصف براك في منشور على حسابه في «إكس»، اليوم (الأربعاء)، اللقاء بـ«الودي والمفيد». وأفاد بأن اللقاء ناقش الوضع في السويداء، وكيفية تقريب وجهات النظر بين جميع الأطراف، وتهدئة التوترات، وبناء التفاهم.
وأوضح أنه ناقش مع براك الوضع في محافظة السويداء، مطالباً باستمرار وقف النار، وطالب بمعبر إنساني «درزي - درزي» إلى السويداء. وأعلن أنه يسعى للسلم، ويرفض الاعتداء على الدروز في السويداء.
وكان وزير الخارجية السوري أسعد الشيباني، التقى وفداً إسرائيلياً في باريس لبحث ملفات تتعلق بالجنوب السوري، وتم التوصل خلال اللقاء إلى اتفاق على تكثيف الجهود لخفض التصعيد، وعدم التدخل في الشأن الداخلي السوري، إضافة إلى دعم التفاهمات التي تسهم في استقرار الأوضاع، ومراقبة وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء، وفق ما أفادت وكالة «سانا».

The Syrian security forces raided a cell affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS in Idlib province. Internal security forces surrounded a house near the Electricity Company street in the town of Atmeh in northern Idlib, after receiving information about the presence of an ISIS cell inside it.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the international coalition's air force after midnight on Tuesday/Wednesday, where the area witnessed heavy helicopter flights.
Meanwhile, intermittent clashes broke out on the ground between coalition forces and an armed individual believed to be affiliated with the organization, who was killed during a precise air landing operation.
The Douala area in the capital Damascus witnessed a terrorist attack last June targeting St. Elias Church, resulting in the deaths of around 25 people, after an armed man stormed the place and opened fire on worshippers, followed by another as well. The Ministry of Interior revealed that the attackers came from the al-Hol camp through the desert to carry out their crime, confirming that they belong to ISIS.
In the meantime, U.S. envoy Tom Barak revealed that he met with the Druze spiritual leader in Israel, Muwaffaq Tarif, in the French capital, Paris.
Barak described the meeting in a post on his account on "X" today (Wednesday) as "friendly and beneficial." He reported that the meeting discussed the situation in Sweida, how to bridge the views of all parties, calm tensions, and build understanding.
He clarified that he discussed with Barak the situation in Sweida province, calling for the continuation of the ceasefire and demanding a humanitarian crossing "Druze-Druze" to Sweida. He announced that he seeks peace and rejects attacks on the Druze in Sweida.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani met with an Israeli delegation in Paris to discuss issues related to southern Syria, and during the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify efforts to reduce escalation, refrain from interfering in Syrian internal affairs, as well as support understandings that contribute to stabilizing the situation and monitoring the ceasefire in Sweida province, according to what the "SANA" agency reported.
