بحضور عدد من قادة الدول الأوروبية، يلتقي الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في البيت الأبيض، اليوم (الإثنين)، في مسعى جديد للتوصل إلى إنهاء الحرب بين روسيا وأوكرانيا.
ويتخوف المراقبون أن تنعكس أجواء اللقاء السابق بين الرئيسين في المكتب البيضاوي والذي ساده التوتر على الاجتماع المرتقب اليوم.
وفي هذا السياق، طرح حساب Real America’s Voice على منصة (X) إكس سؤالًا: «هل سيرتدي زيلينسكي بدلة؟». وردت النائبة جورجيا مارغوري تايلور غرين مازحة: «هل يمكن المراهنة على هذا؟»، وأضافت: «أتوقع بشدة أنه سيرتدي البدلة».
وشارك العديد من مستخدمي منصة إكس في التعليقات، وقال أحدهم: «زيلينسكي من الأفضل أن يرتدي بدلة وربطة عنق! وأحذية أنيقة أيضاً!».
وأضاف آخر: «وصل زيلينسكي إلى واشنطن ويقضي الليلة في بيت الضيافة... آمل أن يتذكر آدابه ويرتدي بدلة غدا». وتساءل آخر: «هل سيرتدي زيلينسكي بدلة هذه المرة؟».
وكان أحد الصحفيين سأل زيلينسكي في لقاء شهر فبراير الماضي: لماذا لا ترتدي بدلة؟ أنت في أعلى منصب في بلادك وترفض ارتداء بدلة. هل تملك بدلة؟.
ورد زيلينسكي حينئذ ساخراً بأنه سيرتدي «الزي الرسمي» بعد انتهاء الحرب.
ورجحت قناة فوكس نيوز الأمريكية أن يختار الرئيس الأوكراني مظهرا أكثر رسمية.
وتوقعت المصممة الأوكرانية إلفيرا غاسانوفا، ألا يظهر زيلينسكي مرتديا قميص بولو. أعتقد أنه سيختار بدلة عسكرية سوداء أو قميصا عسكريا مع بنطال - وربما سترة.
ورجحت أن يختار «مظهرا أكثر جدية - وإن كان أقل رمزية»، بعد تعرضه لانتقادات شديدة بسبب ملابسه غير الرسمية في اللقاء السابق. وأضافت، بعد الجدل الأخير حول عدم ارتداء زيلينسكي، من المرجح أن يتعامل مع هذا الأمر بطريقة مختلفة.
وأعلنت غاسانوفا أنها صممت سابقا ملابس لكل من زيلينسكي والسيدة الأولى الأوكرانية أولينا زيلينسكا. وقالت: أرسلنا قطعا متنوعة إلى مكتب الرئيس، من قمصان فيشيفانكا وقمصان بولو إلى البدلات.

One journalist had asked Zelensky in a meeting last February: Why don’t you wear a suit? You are in the highest position in your country and refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?.
Zelensky sarcastically replied at the time that he would wear “the official uniform” after the war.
Fox News speculated that the Ukrainian president would choose a more formal appearance.
Ukrainian designer Elvira Gasanova predicted that Zelensky would not appear wearing a polo shirt. I think he will choose a black military suit or a military shirt with pants - and perhaps a jacket.
She suggested that he would choose “a more serious appearance - albeit less symbolic,” after facing severe criticism for his informal clothing in the previous meeting. She added that after the recent controversy regarding Zelensky not wearing a suit, he is likely to handle this matter differently.
Gasanova announced that she had previously designed clothes for both Zelensky and the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska. She said: We sent various pieces to the president's office, from vyshyvanka shirts and polo shirts to suits.
