كشفت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية اليوم (السبت) عن صدامات بين الشرطة الإسرائيلية ومتظاهرين وسط تل أبيب خلال مظاهرات حاشدة في أكثر من موقع في تل أبيب، وبحسب هيئة البث الإسرائيلية فإن أكثر من 60 ألف متظاهر شاركوا في الاحتجاجات المعارضة لقرارات نتنياهو والمطالبة بوقف الحرب وإتمام صفقة لتبادل الأسرى.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أن اشتباكات بالأيدي حدثت بين الشرطة ومتظاهرين في تل أبيب ضمن الاحتجاجات المناوئة للحكومة، موضحة أن المتظاهرين أغلقوا شارع أيالون الرئيسي بتل أبيب وأضرموا النار وسط الشارع، وشوهدت فرق الخيالة تلاحق المتظاهرين لمنعهم من إغلاق شوارع رئيسية في المدينة.
وخرج إسرائيليون في مظاهرات بتل أبيب للمطالبة بإبرام اتفاق لإعادة الأسرى من غزة والتنديد بخطط حكومة بنيامين نتنياهو لتوسيع الحرب، وبحسب هيئة البث الإسرائيلية، فإن المتظاهرين رفعوا لافتات وصور أبنائهم من الأسرى في قطاع غزة منذ هجوم 7 أكتوبر 2023، مطالبين الحكومة بوقف الحرب وإتمام صفقة الأسرى فوراً.
وتجمع الآلاف حول قاعدة المخيم وساحة الرهائن بمدينة تل أبيب، وأكد أهالي الأسرى ضرورة الوصول إلى اتفاق فوري وإنهاء الصراع وتفكيك خطة احتلال غزة.
في غضون ذلك، ذكرت القناة 13 الإسرائيلية أن الحكومة ستصدق غداً على تجنيد عشرات الآلاف من جنود الاحتياط، موضحة أن كبار الضباط في الجيش وجهوا انتقادات حادة للعملية العسكرية المرتقبة في غزة.
وأشارت القناة إلى أن خطة توسيع العملية تتضمن استخدام نيران كثيفة وتنفيذ عمليات قضم لأحياء بمدينة غزة.
في الوقت ذاته، نقلت القناة 12 الإسرائيلية عن مصدر إسرائيلي مسؤول قوله: «لا نستبعد العودة إلى المفاوضات حول اتفاق جزئي في إطار مسودة المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف»، مضيفاً: «الجهود الرئيسية الآن تبذل من قبل الوسطاء، والمسؤولون يتلقون بالفعل إشارات مفادها أنه يمكن إعادة حركة حماس إلى طاولة المفاوضات».
وكان وزير المالية الإسرائيلي المتطرف بتسلئيل سموتريتش قد قال في وقت سابق اليوم إنه فقد الثقة في قدرة رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو على تحقيق النصر في غزة، مقراً بأنه وراء المساعي لاستمرار الإبادة الجماعية للمدنيين لكن نتنياهو تراجع عن موقفه.
Israeli media revealed today (Saturday) clashes between the Israeli police and demonstrators in central Tel Aviv during massive protests in multiple locations in Tel Aviv. According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, more than 60,000 demonstrators participated in the protests opposing Netanyahu's decisions and demanding an end to the war and the completion of a prisoner exchange deal.
Israeli media reported that scuffles occurred between the police and demonstrators in Tel Aviv as part of the anti-government protests, noting that the demonstrators blocked the main Ayalon highway in Tel Aviv and set fire in the middle of the street. Mounted police were seen chasing the demonstrators to prevent them from closing major roads in the city.
Israelis took to the streets in Tel Aviv to demand an agreement for the return of prisoners from Gaza and to condemn Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to escalate the war. According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, the demonstrators raised banners and photos of their children who have been prisoners in Gaza since the attack on October 7, 2023, demanding that the government stop the war and finalize the prisoner exchange immediately.
Thousands gathered around the camp base and the hostages' square in Tel Aviv, and the families of the prisoners emphasized the necessity of reaching an immediate agreement to end the conflict and dismantle the plan to occupy Gaza.
Meanwhile, Channel 13 reported that the government will approve tomorrow the mobilization of tens of thousands of reserve soldiers, noting that senior military officers have sharply criticized the anticipated military operation in Gaza.
The channel indicated that the plan to expand the operation includes the use of heavy fire and conducting operations to nibble away at neighborhoods in Gaza City.
At the same time, Channel 12 quoted a responsible Israeli source saying: "We do not rule out returning to negotiations for a partial agreement within the framework of the draft by U.S. envoy Steve Whitekov," adding: "The main efforts are currently being made by the mediators, and officials are already receiving signals that Hamas could return to the negotiating table."
Earlier today, far-right Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that he has lost confidence in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ability to achieve victory in Gaza, admitting that he is behind the efforts to continue the genocide of civilians, but Netanyahu has backtracked on his position.
