وجّه الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي بضرورة الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية لإنجاز مشاريع النقل والصناعة، مؤكداً أهمية تسريع وتيرة إنشاء المحاور اللوجستية التنموية المتكاملة التي تربط مناطق الإنتاج بالموانئ البحرية، بهدف تحويل مصر إلى مركز عالمي للتجارة واللوجستيات.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع عقده أمس (الأحد) مع رئيس الوزراء الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، ونائب رئيس الوزراء للتنمية الصناعية ووزير النقل والصناعة الفريق كامل الوزير، ومستشار رئيس الجمهورية للشؤون المالية الفريق أحمد الشاذلي.
واستعرض الاجتماع الموقف التنفيذي لمشاريع وزارة النقل والصناعة، مع التركيز على منظومة السكك الحديدية، خصوصاً خط سكة حديد العريش - طابا واستكمال خط بئر العبد - العريش، اللذين يهدفان إلى تنمية شبه جزيرة سيناء وإنشاء محور لوجستي يربط بين البحر الأحمر والبحر الأبيض المتوسط.
كما تناول الاجتماع تطورات تطوير الموانئ البحرية، التي تُعدّ ركيزة أساسية في خطط التنمية الوطنية، وتمت مناقشة أعمال إنشاء وتطوير موانئ رأس سدر، جرجوب، أبو قير، الإسكندرية الكبير، المكس الجديد، السخنة، طابا البحري، ودمياط.
كذلك ناقش الاجتماع تقدم إنشاء الخط الرابع لمترو أنفاق القاهرة والقطار الكهربائي السريع، إلى جانب جهود تطوير المناطق الصناعية في وادي السريرية والمطاهرة بمحافظة المنيا وشمال الفيوم بمحافظة الفيوم.
وتهدف هذه المشاريع إلى تعزيز التنمية الصناعية في صعيد مصر، وخلق فرص عمل جديدة، خصوصاً في الصناعات كثيفة العمالة مثل الغزل والنسيج والملابس الجاهزة.
وأكد المتحدث باسم رئاسة الجمهورية السفير محمد الشناوي، أن الرئيس السيسي شدد على أهمية تكامل الموانئ المطورة مع شبكة النقل الحديثة من طرق ومحاور وسكك حديدية، لضمان تحقيق طاقات استيعابية ضخمة ومستوى عالمي، ما يدعم طموح مصر لتصبح مركزاً لوجستياً وتجارياً عالمياً.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed the necessity of adhering to the timelines for completing transportation and industrial projects, emphasizing the importance of accelerating the pace of establishing integrated developmental logistics hubs that connect production areas with seaports, with the aim of transforming Egypt into a global center for trade and logistics.
This came during a meeting held yesterday (Sunday) with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, and the Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs, Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly.
The meeting reviewed the executive status of the Ministry of Transport and Industry projects, focusing on the railway system, particularly the Arish - Taba railway line and the completion of the Bir Al-Abd - Arish line, which aim to develop the Sinai Peninsula and establish a logistics hub connecting the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
The meeting also addressed the developments in the upgrading of seaports, which are considered a fundamental pillar in national development plans. The construction and development works of the ports of Ras Sidr, Gargoub, Abu Qir, Greater Alexandria, New Al-Maks, Sokhna, Taba Marine, and Damietta were discussed.
The meeting also discussed the progress of the construction of the fourth line of the Cairo Metro and the high-speed electric train, along with efforts to develop industrial areas in Wadi Al-Siririya and Al-Mat'hara in Minya Governorate and North Fayoum in Fayoum Governorate.
These projects aim to enhance industrial development in Upper Egypt and create new job opportunities, especially in labor-intensive industries such as spinning, weaving, and ready-made garments.
The spokesperson for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, confirmed that President El-Sisi stressed the importance of integrating the developed ports with the modern transportation network of roads, axes, and railways to ensure achieving massive capacities and a world-class level, which supports Egypt's ambition to become a global logistics and trade hub.
