قبل يوم من اجتماع مقرر بين طهران والاتحاد الأوروبي في القنصلية الإيرانية بإسطنبول، أعلن نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني كاظم غريب آبادي، اليوم (الخميس)، استعداد بلاده لاستئناف المحادثات النووية مع الولايات المتحدة شريطة احترام بعض المبادئ.
وقال غريب آبادي للصحافيين: المحادثات يمكن أن تُستأنف شريطة الاعتراف بحقوق طهران بموجب معاهدة حظر الانتشار النووي وبناء واشنطن الثقة مع طهران وضمان ألا تؤدي المفاوضات إلى تجدد العمل العسكري ضد إيران.
وكان آبادي قال أمس إن بلاده وافقت على السماح لفريق فني من الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية بزيارتها خلال الأسابيع القادمة، لمناقشة آلية جديدة للعلاقات بين الوكالة وطهران، موضحاً أن الوفد إلى إيران لمناقشة الآلية، وليس لزيارة المواقع النووية.
وقال غريب آبادي: في الواقع، تقيّم منظمة الطاقة الذرية الإيرانية الأضرار التي لحقت بالمنشآت النووية، ونحن في انتظار الحصول على تقريرها. وفي هذا الصدد، إنه عمل خطر للغاية، لا نعرف ما الذي حدث هناك بسبب أخطار الإشعاع.
ولفت آبادي إلى أن مسألة بناء الثقة في برنامج طهران النووي مرتبطة بكيفية رفع العقوبات عنها، مشيراً إلى أن هذين الملفين شكلا محور المفاوضات مع واشنطن.
ولم تصدر الوكالة تعليقاً محدداً على تصريحات المسؤول الإيراني، لكنها قالت إن مديرها العام رافائيل غروسي يتواصل بصورة فعالة مع جميع الأطراف المعنية بالقضية النووية الإيرانية.

A day before a scheduled meeting between Tehran and the European Union at the Iranian consulate in Istanbul, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharib Abadi announced today (Thursday) that his country is ready to resume nuclear talks with the United States, provided that certain principles are respected.
Gharib Abadi told reporters: The talks can be resumed on the condition of recognizing Tehran's rights under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, building trust with Tehran, and ensuring that the negotiations do not lead to a renewal of military action against Iran.
Abadi stated yesterday that his country has agreed to allow a technical team from the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit in the coming weeks to discuss a new mechanism for relations between the agency and Tehran, clarifying that the delegation is going to Iran to discuss the mechanism, not to visit nuclear sites.
Gharib Abadi said: In fact, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization is assessing the damage to the nuclear facilities, and we are waiting to receive its report. In this regard, it is a very dangerous operation; we do not know what happened there due to radiation hazards.
Abadi pointed out that the issue of building trust in Tehran's nuclear program is linked to how sanctions are lifted, indicating that these two files have formed the core of negotiations with Washington.
The agency did not issue a specific comment on the Iranian official's statements, but it said that its Director General Rafael Grossi is actively communicating with all parties involved in the Iranian nuclear issue.
