أعلنت القبائل العربية في سورية، ليل الخميس، النفير العام لنجدة عشائر البدو في محافظة السويداء جنوب البلاد.
وقالت العشائر في بيان: «نحن أبناء العشائر السورية، نتابع بقلق بالغ ما يرتكب من جرائم قتل وإبادة بحق عشائر البدو في محافظة السويداء، وما خلفته من تهجير وتشريد للأهالي الأبرياء».
وأضافت أنه «انطلاقاً من الواجب الأخلاقي والقبلي نطالب الحكومة السورية بعدم التدخل أو عرقلة تحرك المقاتلين الذين قدموا من خارج المنطقة فزعة ونصرة لإخوتهم من عشائر البدو».
كما شددت على أنها «تمارس حقها المشروع في الدفاع عن المظلومين ورد العدوان عن النساء والأطفال والشيوخ»، وفق البيان.
وأكد البيان «أن أي إجراء يتخذ ضد هؤلاء المقاتلين يعد انحيازاً صريحاً إلى مرتكبي الجرائم، ويحمّل كل من يقف وراءه مسؤولية أخلاقية وتاريخية عن استمرار المجازر. وأن العشائر السورية تقف صفاً واحداً خلف أبنائها المدافعين، وأي مساسٍ بهم سيواجه بموقفٍ موحد لا مهادنة فيه».
The Arab tribes in Syria announced a general mobilization on Thursday night to aid the Bedouin clans in the Sweida province in the south of the country.
The clans stated in a statement: "We, the sons of the Syrian tribes, are following with great concern the crimes of murder and extermination being committed against the Bedouin clans in the Sweida province, and the resulting displacement and homelessness of innocent civilians."
They added that "based on our moral and tribal duty, we demand that the Syrian government not intervene or obstruct the movement of the fighters who have come from outside the region to support and assist their brothers from the Bedouin clans."
They also emphasized that they "exercise their legitimate right to defend the oppressed and repel aggression against women, children, and the elderly," according to the statement.
The statement confirmed that "any action taken against these fighters is a clear bias towards the perpetrators of the crimes, and it places a moral and historical responsibility on anyone behind it for the continuation of the massacres. The Syrian tribes stand united behind their defending sons, and any harm to them will be met with a unified stance with no compromise."
