قُتلت امرأة اليوم (السبت) جراء انفجار لغم زرعه الحوثيون خلف باب منزلها في منطقة كرش بمحافظة لحج جنوب اليمن، وبحسب الشبكة اليمنية للحقوق والحريات فإن الضحية من النازحين من اعتداءات الحوثي.
وذكرت الشبكة في بيان على حسابها في «إكس» أن مريم عبده مقبل هريش، عادت اليوم إلى منزلها الذي نزحت منه سابقاً في منطقة قداش بمنطقة كرش وما إن فتحت الباب حتى انفجرت العبوة، ما أدى مقتلها على الفور، مبينة أن الألغام والعبوات الناسفة التي زرعها الحوثيون خلفت في منطقي كرش والشريجة عشرات الضحايا المدنيين خلال السنوات الأخيرة معظمهم من الأطفال والنساء، كما سببت إعاقات دائمة لعشرات آخرين، وحولت مساحات وأراضي واسعة إلى حقول للموت.
وأفادت الشبكة أن عدد الضحايا منذ بداية الانقلاب الحوثي وحتى مارس 2025م، جراء الألغام بلغت 4723 قتيلاً و5267 مصاباً.
وكان مدير عام مشروع مسام السعودي لنزع الألغام في اليمن، أسامة بن يوسف القصيبي قد أعلن عن نجاح فرقه منذ انطلاقة المشروع في يونيو 2018 وحتى 27 يونيو 2025، في نزع 502,736 لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة من الأراضي اليمنية، ضمن جهود متواصلة لحماية المدنيين وتطهير المناطق المتضررة من آثار النزاع، مبيناً أن فرق مسام الهندسية طهرت 67,971,272 متراً مربعاً من الأراضي اليمنية منذ انطلاقة المشروع.
ولفت إلى أن هذا الجهد الإنساني يهدف إلى إعادة الحياة إلى طبيعتها في القرى والمزارع والمدارس والطرق التي كانت مسرحاً لخطر الألغام والمتفجرات.
ويُعد مشروع «مسام» السعودي من أبرز المبادرات الإنسانية في اليمن الذي تعمل عبر فرق يمنية وخبرات دولية على إزالة الألغام التي زرعتها جماعة الحوثي في مناطق متفرقة، مما أدى إلى وقوع آلاف الضحايا المدنيين، ويسعى المشروع إلى تحقق الهدف الرئيسي والمتمثل في «يمن بلا ألغام».
إصابة إمام المسجد
من جهة أخرى، اقتحم مسلحون حوثيون مسجد التقوى في مدينة ذمار وسط البلاد أمس واعتدوا على أمام المسجد المسن علي الأهنومي البالغ من العمر 76 عاماً، وحسب الشبكة اليمنية للحقوق والحريات فإن الأهنومي تعرض لإطلاق نار من قبل مسلحي الحوثي مما أسفر عن إصابة بقدميه.
وجاء الاعتداء على الأهنومي داخل المسجد بالتزامن مع تصفية معلم تحفظ قرآن كريم في منطقة السلفية بمحافظة ريمة صالح حنتوس، وبحسب الشبكة فإن الهجوم يأتي ضمن مخطط ممنهج لاستهداف المساجد والمقدسات في مناطق سيطرتها.
A woman was killed today (Saturday) due to the explosion of a landmine planted by the Houthis behind the door of her home in the Kharsh area of Lahij Governorate in southern Yemen. According to the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms, the victim was among those displaced by Houthi attacks.
The network stated in a statement on its account on "X" that Maryam Abdu Maqbil Harish returned today to her home from which she had previously fled in the Qudash area of Kharsh, and as soon as she opened the door, the device exploded, resulting in her immediate death. It indicated that the mines and explosive devices planted by the Houthis have caused dozens of civilian casualties in the Kharsh and Al-Sharijah areas over the past few years, most of whom are children and women, and have caused permanent disabilities to dozens of others, turning vast areas of land into fields of death.
The network reported that the number of casualties since the beginning of the Houthi coup until March 2025 due to landmines has reached 4,723 killed and 5,267 injured.
The General Director of the Saudi Project Masam for Mine Clearance in Yemen, Osama bin Youssef Al-Qusaybi, announced that his teams have successfully removed 502,736 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices from Yemeni territory since the project started in June 2018 until June 27, 2025, as part of ongoing efforts to protect civilians and clear affected areas from the impacts of the conflict. He pointed out that Masam's engineering teams have cleared 67,971,272 square meters of Yemeni land since the project's inception.
He emphasized that this humanitarian effort aims to restore life to normal in the villages, farms, schools, and roads that were once scenes of danger from landmines and explosives.
The Saudi "Masam" project is considered one of the most prominent humanitarian initiatives in Yemen, working through Yemeni teams and international expertise to remove the landmines planted by the Houthi group in various areas, which has led to thousands of civilian casualties. The project aims to achieve its main goal of a "Yemen free of landmines."
إصابة إمام المسجد
On another note, Houthi gunmen stormed the Al-Taqwa Mosque in the city of Dhamar in central Yemen yesterday and assaulted the mosque's elderly imam, Ali Al-Ahnoumi, who is 76 years old. According to the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms, Al-Ahnoumi was shot at by Houthi militants, resulting in injuries to his feet.
The attack on Al-Ahnoumi inside the mosque coincided with the assassination of a Quran teacher in the Salafiya area of Raymah Governorate, according to the network, which stated that the attack is part of a systematic plan to target mosques and sacred sites in areas under their control.
