أحرم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي طلاب الثانوية العامة في الضفة الغربية من أداء امتحانات الشهادة العامة. وبحسب محافظ سلفيت مصطفى طقاطقة، فإن الاحتلال اعتقل اليوم (الخميس) 6 من طلاب الثانوية العامة في بلدة ديراستيا بالضفة الغربية وحرمهم من أداء الاختبارات.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية «وفا» عن طقاطقة قوله: «اعتقال قوات الاحتلال لستة طلاب من الثانوية العامة في بلدة ديراستيا، وحرمانهم من حقهم بالتعليم واستكمال امتحاناتهم، يشكل جريمة جديدة تضاف إلى سجل الانتهاكات اليومية للاحتلال، وانتهاكا صارخا لأبسط حقوق الإنسان»، موضحاً أن «التعليم ليس جريمة، وطلابنا ليسوا أهدافا مشروعة للاحتلال».
وأشار إلى أن المساس بحق الطلاب في التعلم لا يهدد مستقبلهم الفردي فحسب، بل يعد محاولة ممنهجة لضرب النسيج المجتمعي الفلسطيني، ومصادرة الأمل والطموح من جيل كامل، داعياً كافة المؤسسات الحقوقية والدولية إلى التدخل العاجل والضغط من أجل الإفراج عن الطلاب المعتقلين، وضمان حقهم في استكمال تعليمهم بحرية وأمان، بعيدا عن التهديد والملاحقة والانتهاك.
واقتحمت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عدة مدن بالضفة الغربية اليوم واعتقلت عشرات الشبان، في حين أنشأ مستوطنون إسرائيليون سادس بؤرة استيطانية قرب مدينة أريحا التاريخية. وبحسب مصادر فلسطينية فإن قوات الاحتلال اقتحمت المساكن الشعبية شرق مدينة نابلس شمال الضفة، كما اقتحمت مدينة الخليل واعتقلت نحو 7 شبان منها.
وتسللت قوات إسرائيلية خاصة إلى المدينة في طوباس، تبعتها تعزيزات عسكرية من حاجز تياسير العسكري واتجهت إلى منطقة السوق القديمة وسط المدينة.
وقال نادي الأسير الفلسطيني إن قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي اعتقلت 30 فلسطينيا بينهم 7 من طلبة الثانوية العامة في الضفة قبيل ساعات من موعد تقديمهم الامتحان المقرر صباح اليوم.
The Israeli occupation has prevented high school students in the West Bank from taking their public examination. According to Salfit Governor Mustafa Taqatqa, the occupation arrested six high school students today (Thursday) in the town of Deir Istiya in the West Bank, depriving them of the opportunity to take their tests.
The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" quoted Taqatqa as saying: "The arrest of six high school students by the occupation forces in the town of Deir Istiya, and depriving them of their right to education and completing their exams, constitutes a new crime added to the daily record of violations by the occupation, and a blatant violation of the most basic human rights," explaining that "education is not a crime, and our students are not legitimate targets for the occupation."
He pointed out that infringing on students' right to learn not only threatens their individual futures but also represents a systematic attempt to undermine the Palestinian social fabric, confiscating hope and ambition from an entire generation. He called on all human rights and international organizations to intervene urgently and pressure for the release of the detained students, ensuring their right to continue their education freely and safely, away from threats, persecution, and violations.
Israeli occupation forces stormed several cities in the West Bank today and arrested dozens of young men, while Israeli settlers established a sixth settlement outpost near the historic city of Jericho. According to Palestinian sources, the occupation forces raided popular housing east of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, as well as the city of Hebron, arresting about seven young men from there.
Special Israeli forces infiltrated the city of Tubas, followed by military reinforcements from the Tayaseer military checkpoint, heading towards the old market area in the center of the city.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 30 Palestinians, including seven high school students in the West Bank, just hours before their scheduled exam this morning.
