أكد نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جيه.دي فانس (الإثنين)، أن إيران لم تعد قادرة على صنع سلاح نووي، بعد أن دمرت الضربات الأمريكية بنيتها التحتية.
وأوضح في مقابلة مع قناة «فوكس نيوز»: «كانت إيران على وشك امتلاك سلاح نووي، والآن هي عاجزة عن صنع سلاح نووي بالمعدات التي تمتلكها لأننا دمرناها».
وأضاف: «إذا أرادت إيران بناء سلاح نووي في المستقبل، فسيتعين عليها التعامل مع الجيش الأمريكي مرة أخرى».
جاء ذلك بعد أن أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أمس، التوصل إلى اتفاق كامل بين إسرائيل وإيران يقضي بوقف شامل وكامل لإطلاق النار المستمر منذ 12 يوماً.
وأوضح ترمب عبر منشور على منصته «تروث سوشال»، أن وقف إطلاق النار سيدخل حيز التنفيذ بعد نحو ستّ ساعات من الآن، فور انتهاء «المهمات الأخيرة الجارية» لدى الجانبين.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance confirmed on Monday that Iran is no longer capable of making a nuclear weapon, after American strikes destroyed its infrastructure.
He explained in an interview with Fox News: "Iran was on the verge of possessing a nuclear weapon, and now it is incapable of making a nuclear weapon with the equipment it has because we destroyed it."
He added: "If Iran wants to build a nuclear weapon in the future, it will have to deal with the U.S. military again."
This came after U.S. President Donald Trump announced yesterday that a complete agreement had been reached between Israel and Iran for a comprehensive and total ceasefire after 12 days of ongoing conflict.
Trump clarified through a post on his platform, Truth Social, that the ceasefire will take effect in about six hours from now, once the "final ongoing missions" on both sides are completed.
