أعربت الكويت اليوم عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين، للعدوان الإيراني الذي استهدف قاعدة العديد الجوية في دولة قطر، في انتهاك صارخ للسيادة القطرية ومجالها الجوي وللقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، يعد تصعيداً خطيراً يهدد السلم والأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأكدت الوزارة في بيان لها، وقوف دولة الكويت التام إلى جانب قطر قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، ودعمها الكامل لجميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها لحفظ سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها بما في ذلك حقها في الرد مباشرة بما يتناسب مع حجم هذا الاعتداء.
وأشار البيان إلى أن دولة الكويت تعرب أيضاً عن استعدادها لتسخير كل إمكاناتها وطاقاتها لدعم قطر، مؤكدةً في ذات الصدد أن أمن واستقرار قطر جزء لا يتجزأ من أمنها واستقرارها، مشيدة في الوقت ذاته بتصدي الدفاعات الجوية القطرية لهذا الهجوم.
وجددت الكويت تأكيدها على ضرورة وقف ما تشهده المنطقة من عمليات عسكرية، واتساع رقعة الصراع بسبب الهجمات التي شنتها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مع التشديد على ضرورة تضافر الجهود وتعزيز التنسيق الإقليمي والدولي لتسوية الأمور عبر الطرق الدبلوماسية.
Kuwait today expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian aggression that targeted the Al-Udeid Air Base in the State of Qatar, in a blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty and airspace, as well as international law and the United Nations Charter, representing a serious escalation that threatens peace, security, and stability in the region.
The ministry confirmed in a statement its full support for Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, and its complete backing for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, including its right to respond directly in proportion to the scale of this aggression.
The statement indicated that the State of Kuwait also expresses its readiness to harness all its capabilities and resources to support Qatar, reaffirming that the security and stability of Qatar are an integral part of its own security and stability, while also praising the Qatari air defenses' response to this attack.
Kuwait reiterated the necessity of stopping the military operations occurring in the region and the widening of the conflict due to the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts and enhanced regional and international coordination to resolve matters through diplomatic means.
