أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، أن الولايات المتحدة لن تقتل «في الوقت الحالي» المرشد الإيراني علي خامنئي، محذراً إياه من شنّ هجمات إضافية على إسرائيل، وملمحاً إلى أن على الجمهورية الإسلامية «الاستسلام غير المشروط».
وقال ترمب (الثلاثاء) عبر منصة «تروث سوشال» للتواصل الاجتماعي: «نعلم تماماً مكان اختباء ما يُسمى «المرشد الأعلى الإيراني». إنه هدف سهل، ولكنه آمن هناك - لن نقضي عليه (نقتله!)، على الأقل ليس في الوقت الحالي، لكننا لا نريد إطلاق صواريخ على المدنيين أو الجنود الأمريكيين، إن صبرنا ينفد». وكتب في منشور جديد: «استسلام غير مشروط!».
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States will not kill "for the time being" Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, warning him against launching additional attacks on Israel, and hinting that the Islamic Republic should "unconditionally surrender."
Trump said (on Tuesday) via the social media platform "Truth Social": "We know exactly where the so-called 'Iranian Supreme Leader' is hiding. He is an easy target, but he is safe there - we will not take him out (kill him!), at least not for the time being, but we do not want to launch missiles at civilians or American soldiers, our patience is running out." He wrote in a new post: "Unconditional surrender!".
